Evangelho de Pedro 9

1Estando eles explicando o que acabara de acontecer, viram três homens que saíam do sepulcro, dois dos quais servindo de apoio a um terceiro, e uma cruz que ia atrás deles.

1While they were explaining what had just happened, they saw three men coming out of the sepulcher, two of whom were supporting a third, and a cross that followed behind them.

2A cabeça dos dois primeiros chegava até o céu, enquanto que a daquele que era conduzido por eles ultrapassava os céus.

2The heads of the first two reached to heaven, while that of him who was led by them surpassed the heavens.

3Ouviram uma voz vinda dos céus que dizia: 'Pregaste para os que dormem?'

3They heard a voice coming from the heavens saying: 'Have you preached to those who sleep?'

4E da cruz fez-se ouvir uma resposta: 'Sim.'

4And from the cross was heard a response: 'Yes.'

5Então eles passaram a combinar como contariam o ocorrido a Pilatos.

5Then they began to plan how to tell Pilate what had occurred.
