2Provavelmente quando jovem ele veio da Babilônia para Jerusalém e profetizou publicamente a respeito do retorno do povo.

2Probably as a youth he came from Babylon to Jerusalem, and he had prophesied publicly in regard to the return of the people.

3Ele testemunhou em parte a construção do templo. Após sua morte, ele foi enterrado perto do túmulo dos sacerdotes, homenageado como se fosse um deles.

3He witnessed in part the building of the temple. Upon his death he was buried near the tomb of the priests, honored as though one of their number.
