1E quando ouvi estas palavras, lancei-me por terra e adorei o Senhor Deus e disse: 'Tu és o Deus eterno e supremo; e todas as criaturas Te rendem honra e louvor.

1And when I heard these words. I threw myself on the earth and adored the Lord God and said, 'Thou art the eternal and supreme God; and all creatures give thee honour and praise.

2'Tu és a verdadeira Luz que resplandece acima de toda luz, a Vida Vivente, infinito e poderoso Poder. A Ti, as potestades espirituais rendem honra e louvor. Tu operas sobre a raça dos homens a abundância de Tua misericórdia.'

2'Thou art the true Light gleaming above all light(s), the Living Life, infinite mighty Power. To Thee, the spiritual powers give honour and praise. Thou workest on the race of men the abundance of Thy mercy.'

3Depois de haver adorado o Senhor, imediatamente Miguel, o arcanjo de Deus, segurou a minha mão e

3After I had worshipped the Lord, straightway Michael, God's archangel, seized my hand and

4lançou-me fora do paraíso da visão e do mandamento de Deus. E Miguel trazia uma vara em sua mão, e tocou as águas que estavam ao redor do paraíso, e elas congelaram duramente.
