1E saiu Miguel e chamou todos os anjos, dizendo: 'Adorai a imagem de Deus, como o Senhor Deus ordenou.' E o próprio Miguel adorou primeiro; depois chamou-me e disse: 'Adora a imagem de Deus,

1And Michael went out and called all the angels saying: 'Worship the image of God as the Lord God hath commanded.' And Michael himself worshipped first; then he called me and said: 'Worship the image of God

2o Senhor.' E eu respondi: 'Não tenho necessidade de adorar Adão.' E visto que Miguel continuava a instar comigo para que adorasse, eu lhe disse: 'Por que me instas? Não adorarei um ser inferior e mais jovem do que eu. Sou mais antigo do que ele na Criação; antes que ele fosse feito, já eu estava feito. A ele cumpre adorar-me.'
