Evangelho da Infância de Tomé 3

1O filho do escriba Anás estava de pé ali com José.

1The son of Annas the scribe was standing there with Joseph.

2E pegou um galho de salgueiro e dispersou a água que Jesus havia reunido.

2And he took a willow branch and dispersed the water that Jesus had gathered.

3Quando Jesus viu o que foi feito, ficou irritado e disse a ele: Tu, ímpio, desobediente e tolo, que mal te fizeram as poças de água?

3When Jesus saw what was done, he was angry and said to him: You, impious, disobedient and foolish one, what harm did the pools of water do you?

4Eis que agora serás feito murchar como uma árvore, e não produzirás folhas, nem raiz, nem fruto.

4Behold, now you will be made to wither like a tree, and you will not produce leaves, nor root, nor fruit.

5E imediatamente aquele menino murchou completamente.

5And immediately that boy withered completely.

6E seus pais o levaram, lamentando sua juventude, e o trouxeram a José e o acusaram: Tu tens tal filho que faz tais coisas?

6And his parents carried him away, lamenting his youth, and brought him to Joseph and accused him: You have such a son who does such things?
