Testamento de Salomão 7

1E eu, Salomão, vi que os demônios também tinham residência no céu.

1And I, Solomon, saw that the demons also had residence in heaven.

2E perguntei ao príncipe deles: Dize-me, qual é o teu nome?

2And I asked their prince: Tell me, what is your name?

3E ele disse: Sou Beelzebul, o governante dos demônios.

3And he said: I am Beelzebul, the ruler of demons.

4E eu exijo que todos os governantes dos demônios me obedeçam.

4And I demand that all the rulers of demons obey me.

5E eu o selei e o prendi.

5And I sealed him and bound him.

6E ordenei que ele me trouxesse outros demônios.

6And I commanded him to bring me other demons.

7E ele me trouxe um espírito chamado Lix Tetrax, que causa divisões e turbilhões.

7And he brought me a spirit called Lix Tetrax, who causes divisions and whirlwinds.

8Depois veio outro demônio, muito peludo e assustador.

8Then came another demon, very hairy and frightening.

9E eu lhe perguntei: Quem és tu? E ele disse: Sou um espírito da lua.

10Então o destituí e atribuí-lhe o trabalho de carregar madeira.
