Testamento de Salomão 6

1E ordenei que outro demônio viesse diante de mim.

1And I commanded another demon to come before me.

2E vieram trinta e seis espíritos, com as cabeças amorfas como cães, mas formas humanas.

2And there came thirty-six spirits, with heads shapeless like dogs, but human forms.

3E eu lhes perguntei: Quem sois vós?

3And I asked them: Who are you?

4E disseram em uníssono: Somos os trinta e seis elementos, os governantes deste mundo de trevas.

4And they said in unison: We are the thirty-six elements, the rulers of this world of darkness.

5Nós somos os decanos do zodíaco. Trazemos doenças aos homens.

5We are the decans of the zodiac. We bring diseases to men.

6E eu os selei todos com meu anel.

6And I sealed them all with my ring.

7E glorifiquei o Deus do céu e da terra.

7And I glorified the God of heaven and earth.

8E convoquei os setenta e dois espíritos de trabalho para construir o templo.

8And I summoned the seventy-two working spirits to build the temple.

9E eles começaram a trabalhar na construção do magnífico templo do Senhor.

9And they began to work on the construction of the magnificent temple of the Lord.

10E assim o templo foi completado por meio desses espíritos subjugados.

10And thus the temple was completed by means of these subjected spirits.
