Testamento de Salomão 5

1E ordenei que outro demônio se apresentasse diante de mim.

1And I commanded another demon to present himself before me.

2E veio uma mulher com a forma muito bela, mas seus pés eram de mula.

2And there came a woman with a very beautiful form, but her feet were those of a mule.

3E eu lhe disse: Dize-me, quem és tu?

3And I said to her: Tell me, who are you?

4E ela disse: Eu sou chamada Onoskelis. Eu habito em cavernas, precipícios e ravinas.

4And she said: I am called Onoskelis. I dwell in caves, precipices and ravines.

5Tenho muitas formas. Às vezes pareço uma mulher humana, às vezes com uma besta.

5I have many forms. Sometimes I appear as a human woman, sometimes as a beast.

6Eu estrangulo homens e os pervirto de sua verdadeira natureza.

6I strangle men and pervert them from their true nature.

7E eu disse: Por qual anjo és frustrada?

7And I said: By which angel are you frustrated?

8E ela respondeu: Sou frustrada pelo anjo Joel.

8And she answered: I am frustrated by the angel Joel.

9Então a selei com meu anel e a designei para fiar cânhamo para as cordas do templo.

9Then I sealed her with my ring and assigned her to spin hemp for the ropes of the temple.

10E ela foi constrangida a trabalhar.

10And she was constrained to work.
