Testamento de Salomão 4

1E eu glorifiquei a Deus, o Senhor do céu e da terra, e louvei-o.

1And I glorified God, the Lord of heaven and earth, and praised him.

2E mandei trazer outro demônio diante de mim.

2And I commanded another demon to be brought before me.

3E veio diante de mim um demônio que tinha forma de homem, mas era invisível.

3And there came before me a demon who had the form of a man, but was invisible.

4Ele carregava uma espada brilhante na mão.

4He carried a shining sword in his hand.

5E eu lhe perguntei: Quem és tu?

5And I asked him: Who are you?

6E ele disse: Eu sou um espírito que foi feito da sombra de um gigante.

6And he said: I am a spirit that was made from the shadow of a giant.

7Quando os gigantes caíram, fui gerado de sua sombra.

7When the giants fell, I was begotten from their shadow.

8Eu faço as pessoas verem fantasmas à noite e as aterrorizamos.

8I make people see phantoms at night and we terrify them.

9E eu disse: Por qual anjo és frustrado?

9And I said: By which angel are you frustrated?

10Ele respondeu: Pelo anjo chamado Azael.

10He answered: By the angel called Azael.
