Testamento de Salomão 3

1E o menino trouxe Ornias ao rei Salomão.

1And the boy brought Ornias to King Solomon.

2E o rei o interrogou: Dize-me, ó demônio, qual é o teu nome?

2And the king questioned him: Tell me, O demon, what is your name?

3E ele respondeu: Sou chamado Ornias.

3And he answered: I am called Ornias.

4Disse-lhe eu: Dize-me em qual signo do zodíaco resides.

4I said to him: Tell me in which sign of the zodiac you reside.

5Ele respondeu: No signo de Aquário. Estrangulo os que residem em Aquário por causa da paixão pelas mulheres.

5He answered: In the sign of Aquarius. I strangle those who reside in Aquarius because of passion for women.

6Também devoro os que estão com fome excessiva e causo sufocamento.

6I also devour those who suffer excessive hunger and cause suffocation.

7Disse-lhe eu: Tu és Ornias. Agora dize-me: Por qual anjo és frustrado?

7I said to him: You are Ornias. Now tell me: By which angel are you frustrated?

8E ele disse: Pelo arcanjo Uriel.

8And he said: By the archangel Uriel.

9Então eu o selei com meu anel e o ordenei a cortar pedras no templo.

9Then I sealed him with my ring and commanded him to cut stones in the temple.

10E ele começou a cortar pedras para a construção do templo.

10And he began to cut stones for the construction of the temple.
