Testamento de Salomão 2

1Quando ouvi essas coisas, entrei no templo de Deus e orei com toda minha alma.

1When I heard these things, I entered the temple of God and prayed with all my soul.

2E o arcanjo Miguel me trouxe um pequeno anel com um selo gravado em pedra preciosa.

2And the archangel Michael brought me a small ring with a seal engraved on a precious stone.

3E me disse: Toma, ó Salomão, filho de Davi, o dom que o Senhor Deus te enviou.

3And he said to me: Take, O Solomon, son of David, the gift that the Lord God has sent you.

4Com ele aprisionarás todos os demônios e com a ajuda deles construirás Jerusalém.

4With it you will imprison all demons and with their help you will build Jerusalem.

5E tu usarás este selo sobre os demônios que atormentam os homens.

5And you shall use this seal upon the demons that torment men.

6Dei graças ao Senhor e peguei o anel e disse ao menino: Na próxima vez que ele vier, jogue este anel no peito dele.

6I gave thanks to the Lord and took the ring and said to the boy: The next time he comes, throw this ring at his chest.

7E diga: Em nome de Deus, o rei Salomão te chama!

7And say: In the name of God, King Solomon calls you!

8O menino tomou o anel e o lançou no peito do demônio Ornias.

8The boy took the ring and threw it at the chest of the demon Ornias.

9E disse: O rei Salomão te chama!

9And said: King Solomon calls you!

10E o demônio Ornias foi forçado a ir.

10And the demon Ornias was forced to go.
