Testamento de Jó 10

1Mas Elifaz e os que estavam com ele ficaram admirados com estas coisas, e sentaram-se comigo e, respondendo-me, falaram com palavras arrogantes a meu respeito durante vinte e sete dias.

1But Eliphaz and those that were with him were astonished at these things, and they sat down with me and replying to me, spoke in boastful words concerning me for twenty seven days.

2Eles repetiram repetidas vezes que eu sofri merecidamente por ter cometido muitos pecados e que não havia mais esperança para mim, mas eu mesmo retruquei a esses homens no entusiasmo da discórdia.

2They repeated it again and again that I suffered deservedly thus for having committed many sins, and that there was no hope left for me, but I retorted to these men in zest of contention myself.

3E eles se levantaram com raiva, prontos para se separarem com espírito irado. Mas Eliú os conjurou para ficarem mais um pouco até que ele lhes mostrasse o que era.

3And they rose in anger, ready to part in wrathful spirit. But Elihu conjured them to stay yet a little while until he would have shown them what it was.

4“Pois”, disse ele, “você passou tantos dias, permitindo que Jó se vangloriasse de que ele é justo. Mas não suportarei mais isso.

4"For", said he, "so many days did you pass, allowing Job to boast that he is just. But I shall no longer suffer it.

5Pois desde o início continuei chorando por ele, lembrando-me de sua antiga felicidade. Mas agora ele fala com orgulho e com orgulho arrogante diz que tem o seu trono nos céus.

5For from the beginning did I continue crying over him, remembering his former happiness. But now he speaks boastfully and in overbearing pride he says that he has his throne in the heavens.

6Portanto, ouça-me e eu lhe direi qual é a causa do seu destino.

6Therefore, hear me, and I will tell you what is the cause of his destiny.

7Então, imbuído do espírito de Satanás. Eliú falou palavras duras que estão escritas nos registros deixados por Eliú.

7Then, imbued with the spirit of Satan. Elihu spoke hard words which are written down in the records left of Elihu.

8E depois que ele terminou, Deus apareceu para mim em uma tempestade e em nuvens, e falou. culpando Eliú e me mostrando que aquele que havia falado não era um homem, mas uma fera.

8And after he had ended, God appeared to me in a storm and in clouds, and spoke. blaming Elihu and showing me that he who had spoken was not a man, but a wild beast.

9E quando Deus terminou de falar comigo, o Senhor falou a Elifaz: “Tu e teus amigos pecaram por não terem falado a verdade a respeito de meu servo Jó.

9And when God had finished speaking to me, the Lord spoke to Eliphaz: "Thou and thy friends have sinned in that ye have not spoken the truth concerning my servant Job.

10Levanta-te, pois, e faze-o trazer uma oferta pelo pecado por ti, para que os teus pecados sejam perdoados; pois se não fosse por ele, eu teria destruído você”.

10Therefore rise up and make him bring a sin-offering for you in order that your sins may be forgiven; for were it not for him, I would have destroyed you’’.

11E então eles trouxeram para mim tudo o que pertencia a um sacrifício, e eu peguei e trouxe para eles uma oferta pelo pecado, e o Senhor recebeu favoravelmente e perdoou-lhes o erro.

11And so they brought to me all that belonged to a sacrifice, and I took it and brought for them a sin-offering, and the Lord received it favorably and forgave them their wrong.

12Então, quando Elifaz, Baldade e Sofar viram que Deus havia perdoado graciosamente seus pecados por meio de Seu servo Jó, mas que Ele não se dignou a perdoar Eliú, então Elifaz começou a cantar um hino, enquanto os outros responderam, seus soldados também se juntaram ao altar.

12Then when Eliphaz, Baldad and Sophar saw that God had graciously pardoned their sin through His servant Job, but that He did not deign to pardon Elihu, then did Eliphaz begin to sing a hymn, while the others responded, their soldiers also joining while standing by the altar.

13E Elifaz falou assim: “O pecado foi removido e a nossa injustiça desapareceu;

13And Eliphaz spoke thus: "Taken off is the sin and our injustice gone;

14Mas Eliú, o maligno, não terá lembrança entre os vivos; sua luminária se apagou e perdeu a luz.

14But Elihu, the evil one, shall have no remembrance among the living; his luminary is extinguished and has lost its light.

15A glória da sua lâmpada se anunciará para ele, pois ele é filho das trevas. e não de luz.

15The glory of his lamp will announce itself for him, for he is the son of darkness. and not of light.

16Os porteiros do lugar das trevas darão a ele sua glória e beleza como parte; Seu Reino desapareceu, seu trono foi destruído e a honra de sua estatura está no (Sheol) Hades.

16The doorkeepers of the place of darkness shall give him their glory and beauty as share; His Kingdom hath vanished, his throne hath moldered, and the honor of his stature is in (Sheol) Hades.

17Pois ele amou a beleza da serpente e as escamas (peles) do dragão, seu fel e seu veneno pertencem ao Norte (Zphuni = Adicionador).

17For he has loved the beauty of the serpent and the scales (skins) of’ the dracon his gall and his venom belongs to the Northern One (Zphuni = Adder).

18Pois ele não se confessou ao Senhor nem o temeu, mas odiou aqueles a quem Ele escolheu (conheceu).

18For he did not own himself unto the Lord nor did he fear him, but he hated those whom He hath chosen (known).

19Assim, Deus se esqueceu dele, e "os santos" o abandonaram, sua ira e raiva serão para ele desolação e ele não terá misericórdia em seu coração nem paz, porque ele tinha o veneno de uma víbora em sua língua.

19Thus God forgot him, and "the holy ones" forsook him, his wrath and anger shall be unto him desolation and he will have no mercy in his heart nor peace, because he, had the venom of an adder on his tongue.

20Justo é o Senhor, e Seus julgamentos são verdadeiros. Com ele não há preferência de pessoa, pois Ele julga a todos igualmente.

20Righteous is the Lord, and His judgments are true, With him there is no preference of person, for He judgeth all alike.

21Eis que o Senhor vem! Eis que os “santos” foram preparados: as coroas e os prêmios dos vencedores os precedem!

21Behold, the Lord cometh! Behold, the "holy ones" have been prepared: The crowns and the prizes of the victors precede them!

22Que os santos se regozijem e que seus corações exultem de alegria; pois receberão a glória que lhes está reservada.

22Let the saints rejoice, and let their hearts exult in gladness; for they shall receive the glory which is in store for them.

23Nossos pecados estão perdoados, nossa injustiça foi purificada, mas Eliú não tem lembrança entre os vivos”.

23Our sins are forgiven, our injustice has been cleansed, but Elihu hath no remembrance among the living".

24Depois que Elifaz terminou o hino, levantamo-nos e voltamos para a cidade, cada um para a casa onde morava.

24After Eliphaz had finished the hymn, we rose and went back to the city, each to the house where they lived.

25E o povo fez uma festa para mim em gratidão e deleite de Deus, e todos os meus amigos voltaram para mim.

25And the people made a feast for me in gratitude and delight of God, and all my friends came back to me.

26E todos aqueles que me viram no meu antigo estado de felicidade me perguntaram dizendo: “Quais são essas três coisas aqui entre nós?”

26And all those who had seen me in my former state of happiness, asked me saying: "What are those three things here amongst us?"
