Testamento de Isaque 13

1Esta é a saída do corpo de nosso pai Isaque, o patriarca, no dia vinte e quatro do mês de Mesore.

1This is the going forth from the body of our father Isaac, the patriarch, on the twenty-fourth of the month Mesore.

2E o dia em que seu pai Abraão o ofereceu em sacrifício é o dia dezoito de Mechir (12 de fevereiro).

2And the day on which his father Abraham offered him as a sacrifice is the eighteenth of Mechir (12 February).

3Os céus e a terra estavam cheios do cheiro suave de nosso pai Isaque, como prata escolhida: este é o sacrifício de nosso pai Isaque, o patriarca.

3The heavens and the earth were full of the soothing odour of our father Isaac, like choice silver: this is the sacrifice of our father Isaac the patriarch.

4Quando Abraão o ofereceu como sacrifício a Deus, o cheiro suave do sacrifício de Isaque subiu aos céus.

4When Abraham offered him as a sacrifice to God, the soothing odour of Isaac's sacrifice went up into the heavens.

5Bem-aventurado todo homem que realizar um ato de misericórdia em nome desses patriarcas, pois eles serão seus filhos no reino dos céus.

5Blessed is every man who performs an act of mercy in the name of these patriarchs, for they will be their sons in the kingdom of the heavens.

6Pois nosso Senhor fez com eles uma aliança para sempre, de que todo aquele que praticar um ato de misericórdia no dia de sua comemoração lhes será dado como um filho no reino dos céus para sempre.

6For our Lord has made with them a covenant for ever, that everyone who performs an act of mercy on the day of their commemoration shall be given to them as a son in the kingdom of the heavens forever.

7E eles chegarão à primeira hora dos mil anos, de acordo com a promessa de nosso Senhor, nosso Deus e nosso Salvador Jesus Cristo, por meio de quem toda glória é devida a ele e a seu bom Pai e ao Espírito Santo, o doador da vida a toda a criação e um em ser com o Pai e o Filho, agora e sempre, para todo o sempre. Amém.

7And they shall come to the first hour of the thousand years, in accordance with the promise of our Lord, even our God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, through whom every glory is due to him and his good Father and the Holy Spirit, the giver of life to all creation and one in being with the Father and the Son, now and always, for ever and ever. Amen.
