1Este é o livro da geração dos homens. No dia em que Deus fez Adão, à imagem de Deus o fez;

1This is the genealogy of men in the day in which God made Adam; in the image of God he made him:

2Macho e fêmea os fez, e os abençoou; e chamou o seu nome Adão, no dia em que os fez.

2male and female he made them, and blessed them; and he called his name Adam, in the day in which he made them.

3E viveu Adão duzentos e trinta anos, e gerou um filho à sua própria semelhança, e à sua própria imagem, e chamou o seu nome Sete.

3And Adam lived two hundred and thirty years, and begot a son after his own form, and after his own image, and he called his name Seth.

4E foram os dias de Adão, depois que gerou a Sete, setecentos anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

4And the days of Adam, which he lived after his begetting Seth, were seven hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.

5E todos os dias que Adão viveu foram novecentos e trinta anos; e morreu.

5And all the days of Adam which he lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

6E viveu Sete duzentos e cinco anos, e gerou a Enos.

6Now Seth lived two hundred and five years, and begot Enos.

7E viveu Sete, depois que gerou a Enos, setecentos e sete anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

7And Seth lived after his begetting Enos, seven hundred and seven years, and he begot sons and daughters.

8E todos os dias de Sete foram novecentos e doze anos; e morreu.

8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.

9E viveu Enos cento e noventa anos, e gerou a Cainã.

9And Enos lived an hundred and ninety years, and begot Cainan.

10E viveu Enos, depois que gerou a Cainã, setecentos e quinze anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

10And Enos lived after his begetting Cainan, seven hundred and fifteen years, and he begot sons and daughters.

11E todos os dias de Enos foram novecentos e cinco anos; e morreu.

11And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years, and he died.

12E viveu Cainã cento e setenta anos, e gerou a Maleleel.

12And Cainan lived an hundred and seventy years, and he begot Maleleel.

13E viveu Cainã, depois que gerou a Maleleel, setecentos e quarenta anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

13And Cainan lived after his begetting Maleleel, seven hundred and forty years, and he begot sons and daughters.

14E todos os dias de Cainã foram novecentos e dez anos; e morreu.

14And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

15E viveu Maleleel cento e sessenta e cinco anos, e gerou a Jarede.

15And Maleleel lived an hundred and sixty and five years, and he begot Jared.

16E viveu Maleleel, depois que gerou a Jarede, setecentos e trinta anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

16And Maleleel lived after his begetting Jared, seven hundred and thirty years, and he begot sons and daughters.

17E todos os dias de Maleleel foram oitocentos e noventa e cinco anos; e morreu.

17And all the days of Maleleel were eight hundred and ninety and five years, and he died.

18E viveu Jarede cento e sessenta e dois anos, e gerou a Enoque;

18And Jared lived an hundred and sixty and two years, and begot Enoch:

19E viveu Jarede, depois que gerou a Enoque, oitocentos anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

19and Jared lived after his begetting Enoch, eight hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters.

20E todos os dias de Jarede foram novecentos e sessenta e dois anos; e morreu.

20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty and two years, and he died.

21E viveu Enoque cento e sessenta e cinco anos, e gerou a Matusalém.

21And Enoch lived an hundred and sixty and five years, and begat Mathusala.

22E foi Enoque agradável a Deus, depois que gerou a Matusalém, duzentos anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

22And Enoch was well-pleasing to God after his begetting Mathusala, two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters.

23E todos os dias de Enoque foram trezentos e sessenta e cinco anos.

23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty and five years.

24E foi Enoque agradável a Deus, e não foi achado, porque Deus o transportou.

24And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him.

25E viveu Matusalém cento e sessenta e sete anos, e gerou a Lameque.

25And Mathusala lived an hundred and sixty and seven years, and begot Lamech.

26E viveu Matusalém, depois que gerou a Lameque, oitocentos e dois anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

26And Mathusala lived after his begetting Lamech eight hundred and two years, and begot sons and daughters.

27E todos os dias de Matusalém que ele viveu foram novecentos e sessenta e nove anos; e morreu.

27And all the days of Mathusala which he lived, were nine hundred and sixty and nine years, and he died.

28E viveu Lameque cento e oitenta e oito anos, e gerou um filho.

28And Lamech lived an hundred and eighty and eight years, and begot a son.

29E chamou o seu nome Noé, dizendo: Este nos fará descansar das nossas obras, e dos trabalhos das nossas mãos, e da terra, que o Senhor Deus amaldiçoou.

29And he called his name Noe, saying, This one will cause us to cease from our works, and from the toils of our hands, and from the earth, which the Lord God has cursed.

30E viveu Lameque, depois que gerou a Noé, quinhentos e sessenta e cinco anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.

30And Lamech lived after his begetting Noe, five hundred and sixty and five years, and begot sons and daughters.

31E todos os dias de Lameque foram setecentos e cinquenta e três anos; e morreu.

31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and fifty-three years, and he died.

32E era Noé da idade de quinhentos anos, e gerou três filhos, Sem, Cam e Jafé.

32And Noe was five hundred years old, and he begot three sons, Sem, Cham, and Japheth.
