Salmos 96

1Cantai ao SENHOR um cântico novo, cantai ao SENHOR toda a terra.

1O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

2Cantai ao Senhor, bendizei o seu nome; anunciai a sua salvação de dia em dia.

2Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

3Anunciai entre as nações a sua glória; entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.

3Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

4Porque grande é o Senhor, e digno de louvor, mais temível do que todos os deuses.

4For the LORD {is} great, and greatly to be praised: he {is} to be feared above all gods.

5Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos, mas o Senhor fez os céus.

5For all the gods of the nations {are} idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

6Glória e majestade estão ante a sua face, força e formosura no seu santuário.

6Honour and majesty {are} before him: strength and beauty {are} in his sanctuary.

7Dai ao Senhor, ó famílias dos povos, dai ao Senhor glória e força.

7Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

8Dai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome; trazei oferenda, e entrai nos seus átrios.

8Give unto the LORD the glory {due unto} his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. {due...: Heb. of his name}

9Adorai ao Senhor na beleza da santidade; tremei diante dele toda a terra.

9O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. {in the...: or, in the glorious sanctuary}

10Dizei entre os gentios que o Senhor reina. O mundo também se firmará para que se não abale; julgará os povos com retidão.

10Say among the heathen {that} the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

11Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra; brame o mar e a sua plenitude.

11Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. {the fulness...: or, all it containeth}

12Alegre-se o campo com tudo o que há nele; então se regozijarão todas as árvores do bosque,

12Let the field be joyful, and all that {is} therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

13Ante a face do Senhor, porque vem, porque vem a julgar a terra; julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos com a sua verdade.

13Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
