Salmos 92

1Bom é louvar ao SENHOR, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo;

1A Psalm {or} Song for the sabbath day.] {It is a} good {thing} to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

2Para de manhã anunciar a tua benignidade, e todas as noites a tua fidelidade;

2To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, {every...: Heb. in the nights}

3Sobre um instrumento de dez cordas, e sobre o saltério; sobre a harpa com som solene.

3Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. {the harp...: or, the solemn sound with the harp} {a solemn...: Heb. Higgaion}

4Pois tu, Senhor, me alegraste pelos teus feitos; exultarei nas obras das tuas mãos.

4For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5Quão grandes são, Senhor, as tuas obras! Mui profundos são os teus pensamentos.

5O LORD, how great are thy works! {and} thy thoughts are very deep.

6O homem brutal não conhece, nem o louco entende isto.

6A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7Quando o ímpio crescer como a erva, e quando florescerem todos os que praticam a iniqüidade, é que serão destruídos perpetuamente.

7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; {it is} that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8Mas tu, Senhor, és o Altíssimo para sempre.

8But thou, LORD, {art most} high for evermore.

9Pois eis que os teus inimigos, Senhor, eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; serão dispersos todos os que praticam a iniqüidade.

9For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10Porém tu exaltarás o meu poder, como o do boi selvagem. Serei ungido com óleo fresco.

10But my horn shalt thou exalt like {the horn of} an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11Os meus olhos verão o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos, e os meus ouvidos ouvirão o meu desejo acerca dos malfeitores que se levantam contra mim.

11Mine eye also shall see {my desire} on mine enemies, {and} mine ears shall hear {my desire} of the wicked that rise up against me.

12O justo florescerá como a palmeira; crescerá como o cedro no Líbano.

12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13Os que estão plantados na casa do Senhor florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.

13Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14Na velhice ainda darão frutos; serão viçosos e vigorosos,

14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; {flourishing: Heb. green}

15Para anunciar que o Senhor é reto. Ele é a minha rocha e nele não há injustiça.

15To shew that the LORD {is} upright: {he is} my rock, and {there is} no unrighteousness in him.
