Salmos 87

1O seu fundamento está nos montes santos.

1A Psalm {or} Song for the sons of Korah.] His foundation {is} in the holy mountains. {for the sons: or, of the sons}

2O Senhor ama as portas de Sião, mais do que todas as habitações de Jacó.

2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus. (Selá.)

3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

4Farei menção de Raabe e de Babilônia àqueles que me conhecem; eis que da Filístia, e de Tiro, e da Etiópia, se dirá: Este homem nasceu ali.

4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this {man} was born there.

5E de Sião se dirá: Este e aquele homem nasceram ali; e o mesmo Altíssimo a estabelecerá.

5And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

6O Senhor contará na descrição dos povos que este homem nasceu ali. (Selá.)

6The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, {that} this {man} was born there. Selah.

7Assim os cantores como os tocadores de instrumentos estarão lá; todas as minhas fontes estão em ti.

7As well the singers as the players on instruments {shall be there}: all my springs {are} in thee.
