Salmos 86

1Inclina, SENHOR, os teus ouvidos, e ouve-me, porque estou necessitado e aflito.

1A Prayer of David.] Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I {am} poor and needy. {A Prayer...: or, A Prayer, being a Psalm of David}

2Guarda a minha alma, pois sou santo: ó Deus meu, salva o teu servo, que em ti confia.

2Preserve my soul; for I {am} holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. {holy: or, one whom thou favourest}

3Tem misericórdia de mim, ó Senhor, pois a ti clamo todo o dia.

3Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. {daily: or, all the day}

4Alegra a alma do teu servo, pois a ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma.

4Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5Pois tu, Senhor, és bom, e pronto a perdoar, e abundante em benignidade para todos os que te invocam.

5For thou, Lord, {art} good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

6Dá ouvidos, Senhor, à minha oração e atende à voz das minhas súplicas.

6Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

7No dia da minha angústia clamo a ti, porquanto me respondes.

7In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

8Entre os deuses não há semelhante a ti, Senhor, nem há obras como as tuas.

8Among the gods {there is} none like unto thee, O Lord; neither {are there any works} like unto thy works.

9Todas as nações que fizeste virão e se prostrarão perante a tua face, Senhor, e glorificarão o teu nome.

9All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

10Porque tu és grande e fazes maravilhas; só tu és Deus.

10For thou {art} great, and doest wondrous things: thou {art} God alone.

11Ensina-me, Senhor, o teu caminho, e andarei na tua verdade; une o meu coração ao temor do teu nome.

11Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

12Louvar-te-ei, Senhor Deus meu, com todo o meu coração, e glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.

12I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

13Pois grande é a tua misericórdia para comigo; e livraste a minha alma do inferno mais profundo.

13For great {is} thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. {hell: or, grave}

14Ó Deus, os soberbos se levantaram contra mim, e as assembléias dos tiranos procuraram a minha alma, e não te puseram perante os seus olhos.

14O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent {men} have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. {violent: Heb. terrible}

15Porém tu, Senhor, és um Deus cheio de compaixão, e piedoso, sofredor, e grande em benignidade e em verdade.

15But thou, O Lord, {art} a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

16Volta-te para mim, e tem misericórdia de mim; dá a tua fortaleza ao teu servo, e salva ao filho da tua serva.

16O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

17Mostra-me um sinal para bem, para que o vejam aqueles que me odeiam, e se confundam; porque tu, Senhor, me ajudaste e me consolaste.

17Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see {it}, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
