1Deus está na congregação dos poderosos; julga no meio dos deuses.

1A Psalm of Asaph.] God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. {of Asaph: or, for Asaph}

2Até quando julgareis injustamente, e aceitareis as pessoas dos ímpios? (Selá.)

2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3Fazei justiça ao pobre e ao órfão; justificai o aflito e o necessitado.

3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. {Defend: Heb. Judge}

4Livrai o pobre e o necessitado; tirai-os das mãos dos ímpios.

4Deliver the poor and needy: rid {them} out of the hand of the wicked.

5Eles não conhecem, nem entendem; andam em trevas; todos os fundamentos da terra vacilam.

5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. {out...: Heb. moved}

6Eu disse: Vós sois deuses, e todos vós filhos do Altíssimo.

6I have said, Ye {are} gods; and all of you {are} children of the most High.

7Todavia morrereis como homens, e caireis como qualquer dos príncipes.

7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra, pois tu possuis todas as nações.

8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
