Salmos 77

1Clamei a Deus com a minha voz, a Deus levantei a minha voz, e ele inclinou para mim os ouvidos.

1To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph.] I cried unto God with my voice, {even} unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me. {of: or, for}

2No dia da minha angústia busquei ao Senhor; a minha mão se estendeu de noite, e não cessava; a minha alma recusava ser consolada.

2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted. {sore: Heb. hand}

3Lembrava-me de Deus, e me perturbei; queixava-me, e o meu espírito desfalecia. (Selá.)

3I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

4Sustentaste os meus olhos acordados; estou tão perturbado que não posso falar.

4Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5Considerava os dias da antiguidade, os anos dos tempos antigos.

5I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6De noite chamei à lembrança o meu cântico; meditei em meu coração, e o meu espírito esquadrinhou.

6I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

7Rejeitará o Senhor para sempre e não tornará a ser favorável?

7Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

8Cessou para sempre a sua benignidade? Acabou-se já a promessa de geração em geração?

8Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth {his} promise fail for evermore? {for evermore: Heb. to generation and generation?}

9Esqueceu-se Deus de ter misericórdia? Ou encerrou ele as suas misericórdias na sua ira? (Selá.)

9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

10E eu disse: Isto é enfermidade minha; mas eu me lembrarei dos anos da destra do Altíssimo.

10And I said, This {is} my infirmity: {but I will remember} the years of the right hand of the most High.

11Eu me lembrarei das obras do Senhor; certamente que eu me lembrarei das tuas maravilhas da antiguidade.

11I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12Meditarei também em todas as tuas obras, e falarei dos teus feitos.

12I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

13O teu caminho, ó Deus, está no santuário. Quem é Deus tão grande como o nosso Deus?

13Thy way, O God, {is} in the sanctuary: who {is so} great a God as {our} God?

14Tu és o Deus que fazes maravilhas; tu fizeste notória a tua força entre os povos.

14Thou {art} the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

15Com o teu braço remiste o teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. (Selá.)

15Thou hast with {thine} arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16As águas te viram, ó Deus, as águas te viram, e tremeram; os abismos também se abalaram.

16The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

17As nuvens lançaram água, os céus deram um som; as tuas flechas correram duma para outra parte.

17The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad. {poured...: Heb. were poured forth with water}

18A voz do teu trovão estava no céu; os relâmpagos iluminaram o mundo; a terra se abalou e tremeu.

18The voice of thy thunder {was} in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

19O teu caminho é no mar, e as tuas veredas nas águas grandes, e os teus passos não são conhecidos.

19Thy way {is} in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

20Guiaste o teu povo, como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.

20Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
