Salmos 50

1O Deus poderoso, o SENHOR, falou e chamou a terra desde o nascimento do sol até ao seu ocaso.

1A Psalm of Asaph.] The mighty God, {even} the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. {of...: or, for Asaph}

2Desde Sião, a perfeição da formosura, resplandeceu Deus.

2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

3Virá o nosso Deus, e não se calará; um fogo se irá consumindo diante dele, e haverá grande tormenta ao redor dele.

3Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

4Chamará os céus lá do alto, e a terra, para julgar o seu povo.

4He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

5Ajuntai-me os meus santos, aqueles que fizeram comigo uma aliança com sacrifícios.

5Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

6E os céus anunciarão a sua justiça; pois Deus mesmo é o Juiz. (Selá.)

6And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God {is} judge himself. Selah.

7Ouve, povo meu, e eu falarei; ó Israel, e eu protestarei contra ti: Sou Deus, sou o teu Deus.

7Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I {am} God, {even} thy God.

8Não te repreenderei pelos teus sacrifícios, ou holocaustos, que estão continuamente perante mim.

8I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, {to have been} continually before me.

9Da tua casa não tirarei bezerro, nem bodes dos teus currais.

9I will take no bullock out of thy house, {nor} he goats out of thy folds.

10Porque meu é todo animal da selva, e o gado sobre milhares de montanhas.

10For every beast of the forest {is} mine, {and} the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11Conheço todas as aves dos montes; e minhas são todas as feras do campo.

11I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field {are} mine. {mine: Heb. with me}

12Se eu tivesse fome, não to diria, pois meu é o mundo e toda a sua plenitude.

12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world {is} mine, and the fulness thereof.

13Comerei eu carne de touros? ou beberei sangue de bodes?

13Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

14Oferece a Deus sacrifício de louvor, e paga ao Altíssimo os teus votos.

14Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15E invoca-me no dia da angústia; eu te livrarei, e tu me glorificarás.

15And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16Mas ao ímpio diz Deus: Que fazes tu em recitar os meus estatutos, e em tomar a minha aliança na tua boca?

16But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or {that} thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17Visto que odeias a correção, e lanças as minhas palavras para detrás de ti.

17Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

18Quando vês o ladrão, consentes com ele, e tens a tua parte com adúlteros.

18When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. {hast...: Heb. thy portion was with}

19Soltas a tua boca para o mal, e a tua língua compõe o engano.

19Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. {givest: Heb. sendest}

20Assentas-te a falar contra teu irmão; falas mal contra o filho de tua mãe.

20Thou sittest {and} speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21Estas coisas tens feito, e eu me calei; pensavas que era tal como tu, mas eu te argüirei, e as porei por ordem diante dos teus olhos:

21These {things} hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether {such an one} as thyself: {but} I will reprove thee, and set {them} in order before thine eyes.

22Ouvi pois isto, vós que vos esqueceis de Deus; para que eu vos não faça em pedaços, sem haver quem vos livre.

22Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear {you} in pieces, and {there be} none to deliver.

23Aquele que oferece o sacrifício de louvor me glorificará; e àquele que bem ordena o seu caminho eu mostrarei a salvação de Deus.

23Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth {his} conversation {aright} will I shew the salvation of God. {that...: Heb. that disposeth his way}
