Salmos 26

1Julga-me, SENHOR, pois tenho andado em minha sinceridade; tenho confiado também no SENHOR; não vacilarei.

1{A Psalm} of David.] Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; {therefore} I shall not slide.

2Examina-me, Senhor, e prova-me; esquadrinha os meus rins e o meu coração.

2Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

3Porque a tua benignidade está diante dos meus olhos; e tenho andado na tua verdade.

3For thy lovingkindness {is} before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

4Não me tenho assentado com homens vãos, nem converso com os homens dissimulados.

4I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

5Tenho odiado a congregação de malfeitores; nem me ajunto com os ímpios.

5I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

6Lavo as minhas mãos na inocência; e assim andarei, Senhor, ao redor do teu altar.

6I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

7Para publicar com voz de louvor, e contar todas as tuas maravilhas.

7That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

8Senhor, eu tenho amado a habitação da tua casa e o lugar onde permanece a tua glória.

8LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. {where...: Heb. of the tabernacle of thy honour}

9Não apanhes a minha alma com os pecadores, nem a minha vida com os homens sanguinolentos,

9Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: {Gather...: or, Take not away} {bloody...: Heb. men of blood}

10Em cujas mãos há malefício, e cuja mão direita está cheia de subornos.

10In whose hands {is} mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. {full...: Heb. filled with}

11Mas eu ando na minha sinceridade; livra-me e tem piedade de mim.

11But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

12O meu pé está posto em caminho plano; nas congregações louvarei ao Senhor.

12My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
