Salmos 24

1Do SENHOR é a terra e a sua plenitude, o mundo e aqueles que nele habitam.

1A Psalm of David.] The earth {is} the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2Porque ele a fundou sobre os mares, e a firmou sobre os rios.

2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3Quem subirá ao monte do Senhor, ou quem estará no seu lugar santo?

3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4Aquele que é limpo de mãos e puro de coração, que não entrega a sua alma à vaidade, nem jura enganosamente.

4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. {He...: Heb. The clean of hands}

5Este receberá a bênção do Senhor e a justiça do Deus da sua salvação.

5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6Esta é a geração daqueles que buscam, daqueles que buscam a tua face, ó Deus de Jacó. (Selá.)

6This {is} the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. {O Jacob: or, O God of Jacob}

7Levantai, ó portas, as vossas cabeças; levantai-vos, ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da Glória.

7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8Quem é este Rei da Glória? O Senhor forte e poderoso, o Senhor poderoso na guerra.

8Who {is} this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9Levantai, ó portas, as vossas cabeças, levantai-vos, ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da Glória.

9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift {them} up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10Quem é este Rei da Glória? O Senhor dos Exércitos, ele é o Rei da Glória. (Selá.)
