Salmos 22

1Deus meu, Deus meu, por que me desamparaste? Por que te alongas do meu auxílio e das palavras do meu bramido?

1To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.] My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? {why art thou so} far from helping me, {and from} the words of my roaring? {Aijeleth...: or, the hind of the morning} {helping...: Heb. my salvation}

2Deus meu, eu clamo de dia, e tu não me ouves; de noite, e não tenho sossego.

2O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. {am...: Heb. there is no silence to me}

3Porém tu és santo, tu que habitas entre os louvores de Israel.

3But thou {art} holy, {O thou} that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4Em ti confiaram nossos pais; confiaram, e tu os livraste.

4Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5A ti clamaram e escaparam; em ti confiaram, e não foram confundidos.

5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6Mas eu sou verme, e não homem, opróbrio dos homens e desprezado do povo.

6But I {am} a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7Todos os que me vêem zombam de mim, estendem os lábios e meneiam a cabeça, dizendo:

7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, {saying}, {shoot...: Heb. open}

8Confiou no Senhor, que o livre; livre-o, pois nele tem prazer.

8He trusted on the LORD {that} he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. {He trusted...: Heb. He rolled himself on} {seeing...: or, if he delight in}

9Mas tu és o que me tiraste do ventre; fizeste-me confiar, estando aos seios de minha mãe.

9But thou {art} he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope {when I was} upon my mother's breasts. {didst...: or, kept me in safety}

10Sobre ti fui lançado desde a madre; tu és o meu Deus desde o ventre de minha mãe.

10I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou {art} my God from my mother's belly.

11Não te alongues de mim, pois a angústia está perto, e não há quem ajude.

11Be not far from me; for trouble {is} near; for {there is} none to help. {none...: Heb. not a helper}

12Muitos touros me cercaram; fortes touros de Basã me rodearam.

12Many bulls have compassed me: strong {bulls} of Bashan have beset me round.

13Abriram contra mim suas bocas, como um leão que despedaça e que ruge.

13They gaped upon me {with} their mouths, {as} a ravening and a roaring lion. {gaped...: Heb. opened their mouths against me}

14Como água me derramei, e todos os meus ossos se desconjuntaram; o meu coração é como cera, derreteu-se no meio das minhas entranhas.

14I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. {out of...: or, sundered}

15A minha força se secou como um caco, e a língua se me pega ao paladar; e me puseste no pó da morte.

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16Pois me rodearam cães; o ajuntamento de malfeitores me cercou, traspassaram-me as mãos e os pés.

16For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17Poderia contar todos os meus ossos; eles vêem e me contemplam.

17I may tell all my bones: they look {and} stare upon me.

18Repartem entre si as minhas vestes, e lançam sortes sobre a minha roupa.

18They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19Mas tu, Senhor, não te alongues de mim. Força minha, apressa-te em socorrer-me.

19But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20Livra a minha alma da espada, e a minha predileta da força do cão.

20Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. {my darling: Heb. my only one} {power: Heb. hand}

21Salva-me da boca do leão; sim, ouviste-me, das pontas dos bois selvagens.

21Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22Então declararei o teu nome aos meus irmãos; louvar-te-ei no meio da congregação.

22I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23Vós, que temeis ao Senhor, louvai-o; todos vós, semente de Jacó, glorificai-o; e temei-o todos vós, semente de Israel.

23Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24Porque não desprezou nem abominou a aflição do aflito, nem escondeu dele o seu rosto; antes, quando ele clamou, o ouviu.

24For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25O meu louvor será de ti na grande congregação; pagarei os meus votos perante os que o temem.

25My praise {shall be} of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26Os mansos comerão e se fartarão; louvarão ao Senhor os que o buscam; o vosso coração viverá eternamente.

26The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27Todos os limites da terra se lembrarão, e se converterão ao Senhor; e todas as famílias das nações adorarão perante a tua face.

27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

28Porque o reino é do Senhor, e ele domina entre as nações.

28For the kingdom {is} the LORD'S: and he {is} the governor among the nations.

29Todos os que na terra são gordos comerão e adorarão, e todos os que descem ao pó se prostrarão perante ele; e nenhum poderá reter viva a sua alma.

29All {they that be} fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30Uma semente o servirá; será declarada ao Senhor a cada geração.

30A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31Chegarão e anunciarão a sua justiça ao povo que nascer, porquanto ele o fez.

31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done {this}.
