Salmos 148

1Louvai ao SENHOR. Louvai ao SENHOR desde os céus, louvai-o nas alturas.

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. {Praise ye the LORD. Praise: Heb. Hallelujah, etc}

2Louvai-o, todos os seus anjos; louvai-o, todos os seus exércitos.

2Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3Louvai-o, sol e lua; louvai-o, todas as estrelas luzentes.

3Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4Louvai-o, céus dos céus, e as águas que estão sobre os céus.

4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that {be} above the heavens.

5Louvem o nome do Senhor, pois mandou, e logo foram criados.

5Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

6E os confirmou eternamente para sempre, e lhes deu um decreto que não ultrapassarão.

6He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

7Louvai ao Senhor desde a terra: vós, baleias, e todos os abismos;

7Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

8Fogo e saraiva, neve e vapores, e vento tempestuoso que executa a sua palavra;

8Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

9Montes e todos os outeiros, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros;

9Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10As feras e todos os gados, répteis e aves voadoras;

10Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: {flying...: Heb. birds of wing}

11Reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra;

11Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12Moços e moças, velhos e crianças.

12Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

13Louvem o nome do Senhor, pois só o seu nome é exaltado; a sua glória está sobre a terra e o céu.

13Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory {is} above the earth and heaven. {excellent: Heb. exalted}

14Ele também exalta o poder do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, dos filhos de Israel, um povo que lhe é chegado. Louvai ao Senhor.

14He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; {even} of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
