Salmos 141

1SENHOR, a ti clamo, escuta-me; inclina os teus ouvidos à minha voz, quando a ti clamar.

1A Psalm of David.] LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

2Suba a minha oração perante a tua face como incenso, e as minhas mãos levantadas sejam como o sacrifício da tarde.

2Let my prayer be set forth before thee {as} incense; {and} the lifting up of my hands {as} the evening sacrifice. {set...: Heb. directed}

3Põe, ó Senhor, uma guarda à minha boca; guarda a porta dos meus lábios.

3Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

4Não inclines o meu coração a coisas más, a praticar obras más, com aqueles que praticam a iniqüidade; e não coma das suas delícias.

4Incline not my heart to {any} evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

5Fira-me o justo, será isso uma benignidade; e repreenda-me, será um excelente óleo, que não me quebrará a cabeça; pois a minha oração também ainda continuará nas suas próprias calamidades.

5Let the righteous smite me; {it shall be} a kindness: and let him reprove me; {it shall be} an excellent oil, {which} shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also {shall be} in their calamities. {me; it shall be a...: or, me kindly, and reprove me; let not their precious oil break, etc}

6Quando os seus juízes forem derrubados pelos lados da rocha, ouvirão as minhas palavras, pois são agradáveis.

6When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

7Os nossos ossos são espalhados à boca da sepultura como se alguém fendera e partira lenha na terra.

7Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth {wood} upon the earth.

8Mas os meus olhos te contemplam, ó DEUS o Senhor; em ti confio; não desnudes a minha alma.

8But mine eyes {are} unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. {leave...: Heb. make not my soul bare}

9Guarda-me dos laços que me armaram; e dos laços corrediços dos que praticam a iniqüidade.

9Keep me from the snares {which} they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

10Caiam os ímpios nas suas próprias redes, até que eu tenha escapado inteiramente.

10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape. {escape: Heb. pass over}
