Salmos 135

1Louvai ao SENHOR. Louvai o nome do SENHOR; louvai-o, servos do SENHOR.

1Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise {him}, O ye servants of the LORD.

2Vós que assistis na casa do Senhor, nos átrios da casa do nosso Deus.

2Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

3Louvai ao Senhor, porque o Senhor é bom; cantai louvores ao seu nome, porque é agradável.

3Praise the LORD; for the LORD {is} good: sing praises unto his name; for {it is} pleasant.

4Porque o Senhor escolheu para si a Jacó, e a Israel para seu próprio tesouro.

4For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, {and} Israel for his peculiar treasure.

5Porque eu conheço que o Senhor é grande e que o nosso Senhor está acima de todos os deuses.

5For I know that the LORD {is} great, and {that} our Lord {is} above all gods.

6Tudo o que o Senhor quis, fez, nos céus e na terra, nos mares e em todos os abismos.

6Whatsoever the LORD pleased, {that} did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

7Faz subir os vapores das extremidades da terra; faz os relâmpagos para a chuva; tira os ventos dos seus tesouros.

7He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

8O que feriu os primogênitos do Egito, desde os homens até os animais;

8Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast. {both...: Heb. from man unto beast}

9O que enviou sinais e prodígios no meio de ti, ó Egito, contra Faraó e contra os seus servos;

9{Who} sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

10O que feriu muitas nações, e matou poderosos reis:

10Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

11A Siom, rei dos amorreus, e a Ogue, rei de Basã, e a todos os reinos de Canaã;

11Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

12E deu a sua terra em herança, em herança a Israel, seu povo.

12And gave their land {for} an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

13O teu nome, ó Senhor, dura perpetuamente, e a tua memória, ó Senhor, de geração em geração.

13Thy name, O LORD, {endureth} for ever; {and} thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations. {throughout...: Heb. to generation and generation}

14Pois o Senhor julgará o seu povo, e se arrependerá com respeito aos seus servos.

14For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15Os ídolos dos gentios são prata e ouro, obra das mãos dos homens.

15The idols of the heathen {are} silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

16Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, e não vêem,

16They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17Têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem, nem há respiro algum nas suas bocas.

17They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there {any} breath in their mouths.

18Semelhantes a eles se tornem os que os fazem, e todos os que confiam neles.

18They that make them are like unto them: {so is} every one that trusteth in them.

19Casa de Israel, bendizei ao Senhor; casa de Arão, bendizei ao Senhor;

19Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

20Casa de Levi, bendizei ao Senhor; vós os que temeis ao Senhor, louvai ao Senhor.

20Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

21Bendito seja o Senhor desde Sião, que habita em Jerusalém. Louvai ao Senhor.

21Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
