Salmos 130

1Das profundezas a ti clamo, ó SENHOR.

1A Song of degrees.] Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2Senhor, escuta a minha voz; sejam os teus ouvidos atentos à voz das minhas súplicas.

2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3Se tu, Senhor, observares as iniqüidades, Senhor, quem subsistirá?

3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4Mas contigo está o perdão, para que sejas temido.

4But {there is} forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5Aguardo ao Senhor; a minha alma o aguarda, e espero na sua palavra.

5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6A minha alma anseia pelo Senhor, mais do que os guardas pela manhã, mais do que aqueles que guardam pela manhã.

6My soul {waiteth} for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: {I say, more than} they that watch for the morning. {I say...: or, which watch unto}

7Espere Israel no Senhor, porque no Senhor há misericórdia, e nele há abundante redenção.

7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD {there is} mercy, and with him {is} plenteous redemption.

8E ele remirá a Israel de todas as suas iniqüidades.

8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
