Salmos 13

1Até quando te esquecerás de mim, SENHOR? Para sempre? Até quando esconderás de mim o teu rosto?

1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.] How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? {chief...: or, overseer}

2Até quando consultarei com a minha alma, tendo tristeza no meu coração cada dia? Até quando se exaltará sobre mim o meu inimigo?

2How long shall I take counsel in my soul, {having} sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3Atende-me, ouve-me, ó Senhor meu Deus; ilumina os meus olhos para que eu não adormeça na morte;

3Consider {and} hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the {sleep of} death;

4Para que o meu inimigo não diga: Prevaleci contra ele; e os meus adversários não se alegrem, vindo eu a vacilar.

4Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; {and} those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

5Mas eu confio na tua benignidade; na tua salvação se alegrará o meu coração.

5But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

6Cantarei ao Senhor, porquanto me tem feito muito bem.

6I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
