Salmos 122

1Alegrei-me quando me disseram: Vamos á casa do SENHOR.

1A Song of degrees of David.] I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2Os nossos pés estão dentro das tuas portas, ó Jerusalém.

2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3Jerusalém está edificada como uma cidade que é compacta.

3Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

4Onde sobem as tribos, as tribos do Senhor, até ao testemunho de Israel, para darem graças ao nome do Senhor.

4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

5Pois ali estão os tronos do juízo, os tronos da casa de Davi.

5For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. {are...: Heb. do sit}

6Orai pela paz de Jerusalém; prosperarão aqueles que te amam.

6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7Haja paz dentro de teus muros, e prosperidade dentro dos teus palácios.

7Peace be within thy walls, {and} prosperity within thy palaces.

8Por causa dos meus irmãos e amigos, direi: Paz esteja em ti.

8For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace {be} within thee.

9Por causa da casa do Senhor nosso Deus, buscarei o teu bem.

9Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
