Salmos 119

1Bem-aventurados os retos em seus caminhos, que andam na lei do Senhor.

1ALEPH. Blessed {are} the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. {undefiled: or, perfect, or, sincere}

2Bem-aventurados os que guardam os seus testemunhos, e que o buscam com todo o coração.

2Blessed {are} they that keep his testimonies, {and that} seek him with the whole heart.

3E não praticam iniqüidade, mas andam nos seus caminhos.

3They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

4Tu ordenaste os teus mandamentos, para que diligentemente os observássemos.

4Thou hast commanded {us} to keep thy precepts diligently.

5Quem dera que os meus caminhos fossem dirigidos a observar os teus mandamentos.

5O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

6Então não ficaria confundido, atentando eu para todos os teus mandamentos.

6Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7Louvar-te-ei com retidão de coração quando tiver aprendido os teus justos juízos.

7I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. {thy...: Heb. judgments of thy righteousness}

8Observarei os teus estatutos; não me desampares totalmente.

8I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

9Com que purificará o jovem o seu caminho? Observando-o conforme a tua palavra.

9BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed {thereto} according to thy word.

10Com todo o meu coração te busquei; não me deixes desviar dos teus mandamentos.

10With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11Escondi a tua palavra no meu coração, para eu não pecar contra ti.

11Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12Bendito és tu, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

12Blessed {art} thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

13Com os meus lábios declarei todos os juízos da tua boca.

13With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14Folguei tanto no caminho dos teus testemunhos, como em todas as riquezas.

14I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as {much as} in all riches.

15Meditarei nos teus preceitos, e terei respeito aos teus caminhos.

15I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16Recrear-me-ei nos teus estatutos; não me esquecerei da tua palavra.

16I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

17Faze bem ao teu servo, para que viva e observe a tua palavra.

17GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, {that} I may live, and keep thy word.

18Abre tu os meus olhos, para que veja as maravilhas da tua lei.

18Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. {Open: Heb. Reveal}

19Sou peregrino na terra; não escondas de mim os teus mandamentos.

19I {am} a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

20A minha alma está quebrantada de desejar os teus juízos em todo o tempo.

20My soul breaketh for the longing {that it hath} unto thy judgments at all times.

21Tu repreendeste asperamente os soberbos que são amaldiçoa-dos, que se desviam dos teus mandamentos.

21Thou hast rebuked the proud {that are} cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

22Tira de sobre mim o opróbrio e o desprezo, pois guardei os teus testemunhos.

22Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

23Príncipes também se assentaram, e falaram contra mim, mas o teu servo meditou nos teus estatutos.

23Princes also did sit {and} speak against me: {but} thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

24Também os teus testemunhos são o meu prazer e os meus conselheiros.

24Thy testimonies also {are} my delight {and} my counsellors. {my counsellors: Heb. men of my counsel}

25A minha alma está pegada ao pó; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.

25DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

26Eu te contei os meus caminhos, e tu me ouviste; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

26I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

27Faze-me entender o caminho dos teus preceitos; assim falarei das tuas maravilhas.

27Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

28A minha alma consome-se de tristeza; fortalece-me segundo a tua palavra.

28My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. {melteth: Heb. droppeth}

29Desvia de mim o caminho da falsidade, e concede-me piedosamente a tua lei.

29Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

30Escolhi o caminho da verdade; propus-me seguir os teus juízos.

30I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid {before me}.

31Apego-me aos teus testemunhos; ó Senhor, não me confundas.

31I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

32Correrei pelo caminho dos teus mandamentos, quando dilatares o meu coração.

32I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

33Ensina-me, ó Senhor, o caminho dos teus estatutos, e guardá-lo-ei até o fim.

33HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it {unto} the end.

34Dá-me entendimento, e guardarei a tua lei, e observá-la-ei de todo o meu coração.

34Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with {my} whole heart.

35Faze-me andar na vereda dos teus mandamentos, porque nela tenho prazer.

35Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36Inclina o meu coração aos teus testemunhos, e não à cobiça.

36Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37Desvia os meus olhos de contemplarem a vaidade, e vivifica-me no teu caminho.

37Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; {and} quicken thou me in thy way. {Turn...: Heb. Make to pass}

38Confirma a tua palavra ao teu servo, que é dedicado ao teu temor.

38Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who {is devoted} to thy fear.

39Desvia de mim o opróbrio que temo, pois os teus juízos são bons.

39Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments {are} good.

40Eis que tenho desejado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me na tua justiça.

40Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

41Venham sobre mim também as tuas misericórdias, ó Senhor, e a tua salvação segundo a tua palavra.

41VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, {even} thy salvation, according to thy word.

42Assim terei que responder ao que me afronta, pois confio na tua palavra.

42So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word. {So...: or, So shall I answer him that reproveth me in a thing}

43E não tires totalmente a palavra de verdade da minha boca, pois tenho esperado nos teus juízos.

43And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

44Assim observarei de contínuo a tua lei para sempre e eternamente.

44So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

45E andarei em liberdade; pois busco os teus preceitos.

45And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. {at liberty: Heb. at large}

46Também falarei dos teus testemunhos perante os reis, e não me envergonharei.

46I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

47E recrear-me-ei em teus mandamentos, que tenho amado.

47And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

48Também levantarei as minhas mãos para os teus mandamentos, que amei, e meditarei nos teus estatutos.

48My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

49Lembra-te da palavra dada ao teu servo, na qual me fizeste esperar.

49ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

50Isto é a minha consolação na minha aflição, porque a tua palavra me vivificou.

50This {is} my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

51Os soberbos zombaram grandemente de mim; contudo não me desviei da tua lei.

51The proud have had me greatly in derision: {yet} have I not declined from thy law.

52Lembrei-me dos teus juízos antiqüíssimos, ó Senhor, e assim me consolei.

52I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

53Grande indignação se apoderou de mim por causa dos ímpios que abandonam a tua lei.

53Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54Os teus estatutos têm sido os meus cânticos na casa da minha peregrinação.

54Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55Lembrei-me do teu nome, ó Senhor, de noite, e observei a tua lei.

55I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

56Isto fiz eu, porque guardei os teus mandamentos.

56This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

57O Senhor é a minha porção; eu disse que observaria as tuas palavras.

57CHETH. {Thou art} my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

58Roguei deveras o teu favor com todo o meu coração; tem piedade de mim, segundo a tua palavra.

58I intreated thy favour with {my} whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word. {favour: Heb. face}

59Considerei os meus caminhos, e voltei os meus pés para os teus testemunhos.

59I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60Apressei-me, e não me detive, a observar os teus mandamentos.

60I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

61Bandos de ímpios me despojaram, mas eu não me esqueci da tua lei.

61The bands of the wicked have robbed me: {but} I have not forgotten thy law. {bands: or, companies}

62À meia-noite me levantarei para te louvar, pelos teus justos juízos.

62At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

63Companheiro sou de todos os que te temem e dos que guardam os teus preceitos.

63I {am} a companion of all {them} that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

64A terra, ó Senhor, está cheia da tua benignidade; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

64The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

65Fizeste bem ao teu servo, Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.

65TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

66Ensina-me bom juízo e ciência, pois cri nos teus mandamentos.

66Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

67Antes de ser afligido andava errado; mas agora tenho guardado a tua palavra.

67Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

68Tu és bom e fazes bem; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

68Thou {art} good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

69Os soberbos forjaram mentiras contra mim; mas eu com todo o meu coração guardarei os teus preceitos.

69The proud have forged a lie against me: {but} I will keep thy precepts with {my} whole heart.

70Engrossa-se-lhes o coração como gordura, mas eu me recreio na tua lei.

70Their heart is as fat as grease; {but} I delight in thy law.

71Foi-me bom ter sido afligido, para que aprendesse os teus estatutos.

71{It is} good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

72Melhor é para mim a lei da tua boca do que milhares de ouro ou prata.

72The law of thy mouth {is} better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73As tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; dá-me inteligência para entender os teus mandamentos.

73JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74Os que te temem alegraram-se quando me viram, porque tenho esperado na tua palavra.

74They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

75Bem sei eu, ó Senhor, que os teus juízos são justos, e que segundo a tua fidelidade me afligiste.

75I know, O LORD, that thy judgments {are} right, and {that} thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. {right: Heb. righteousness}

76Sirva pois a tua benignidade para me consolar, segundo a palavra que deste ao teu servo.

76Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. {for...: Heb. to comfort me}

77Venham sobre mim as tuas misericórdias, para que viva, pois a tua lei é a minha delícia.

77Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law {is} my delight.

78Confundam-se os soberbos, pois me trataram duma maneira perversa, sem causa; mas eu meditarei nos teus preceitos.

78Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: {but} I will meditate in thy precepts.

79Voltem-se para mim os que te temem, e aqueles que têm conhecido os teus testemunhos.

79Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

80Seja reto o meu coração nos teus estatutos, para que não seja confundido.

80Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

81Desfalece a minha alma pela tua salvação, mas espero na tua palavra.

81CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: {but} I hope in thy word.

82Os meus olhos desfalecem pela tua palavra; entrementes dizia: Quando me consolarás tu?

82Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

83Pois estou como odre na fumaça; contudo não me esqueço dos teus estatutos.

83For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; {yet} do I not forget thy statutes.

84Quantos serão os dias do teu servo? Quando me farás justiça contra os que me perseguem?

84How many {are} the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85Os soberbos me cavaram covas, o que não é conforme a tua lei.

85The proud have digged pits for me, which {are} not after thy law.

86Todos os teus mandamentos são verdade. Com mentiras me perseguem; ajuda-me.

86All thy commandments {are} faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me. {faithful: Heb. faithfulness}

87Quase que me têm consumido sobre a terra, mas eu não deixei os teus preceitos.

87They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

88Vivifica-me segundo a tua benignidade; assim guardarei o testemunho da tua boca.

88Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

89Para sempre, ó Senhor, a tua palavra permanece no céu.

89LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

90A tua fidelidade dura de geração em geração; tu firmaste a terra, e ela permanece firme.

90Thy faithfulness {is} unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. {unto...: Heb. to generation and generation} {abideth: Heb. standeth}

91Eles continuam até ao dia de hoje, segundo as tuas ordenações; porque todos são teus servos.

91They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all {are} thy servants.

92Se a tua lei não fora toda a minha recreação, há muito que pereceria na minha aflição.

92Unless thy law {had been} my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93Nunca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos; pois por eles me tens vivificado.

93I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

94Sou teu, salva-me; pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos.

94I {am} thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

95Os ímpios me esperam para me destruírem, mas eu considerarei os teus testemunhos.

95The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: {but} I will consider thy testimonies.

96Tenho visto fim a toda a perfeição, mas o teu mandamento é amplíssimo.

96I have seen an end of all perfection: {but} thy commandment {is} exceeding broad.

97Oh! quanto amo a tua lei! É a minha meditação em todo o dia.

97MEM. O how love I thy law! it {is} my meditation all the day.

98Tu, pelos teus mandamentos, me fazes mais sábio do que os meus inimigos; pois estão sempre comigo.

98Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they {are} ever with me. {they...: Heb. it is ever with me}

99Tenho mais entendimento do que todos os meus mestres, porque os teus testemunhos são a minha meditação.

99I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies {are} my meditation.

100Entendo mais do que os antigos; porque guardo os teus preceitos.

100I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

101Desviei os meus pés de todo caminho mau, para guardar a tua palavra.

101I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

102Não me apartei dos teus juízos, pois tu me ensinaste.

102I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

103Oh! quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu paladar, mais doces do que o mel à minha boca.

103How sweet are thy words unto my taste! {yea, sweeter} than honey to my mouth! {taste: Heb. palate}

104Pelos teus mandamentos alcancei entendimento; por isso odeio todo falso caminho.

104Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

105Lâmpada para os meus pés é tua palavra, e luz para o meu caminho.

105NUN. Thy word {is} a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. {lamp: or, candle}

106Jurei, e o cumprirei, que guardarei os teus justos juízos.

106I have sworn, and I will perform {it}, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107Estou aflitíssimo; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.

107I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

108Aceita, eu te rogo, as oferendas voluntárias da minha boca, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus juízos.

108Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

109A minha alma está de contínuo nas minhas mãos; todavia não me esqueço da tua lei.

109My soul {is} continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

110Os ímpios me armaram laço; contudo não me desviei dos teus preceitos.

110The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

111Os teus testemunhos tenho eu tomado por herança para sempre, pois são o gozo do meu coração.

111Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they {are} the rejoicing of my heart.

112Inclinei o meu coração a guardar os teus estatutos, para sempre, até ao fim.

112I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, {even unto} the end. {to perform: Heb. to do}

113Odeio os pensamentos vãos, mas amo a tua lei.

113SAMECH. I hate {vain} thoughts: but thy law do I love.

114Tu és o meu refúgio e o meu escudo; espero na tua palavra.

114Thou {art} my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115Apartai-vos de mim, malfeitores, pois guardarei os mandamentos do meu Deus.

115Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

116Sustenta-me conforme a tua palavra, para que viva, e não me deixes envergonhado da minha esperança.

116Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117Sustenta-me, e serei salvo, e de contínuo terei respeito aos teus estatutos.

117Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118Tu tens pisado aos pés todos os que se desviam dos teus estatutos, pois o engano deles é falsidade.

118Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit {is} falsehood.

119Tu tiraste da terra todos os ímpios, como a escória, por isso amo os teus testemunhos.

119Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth {like} dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. {puttest...: Heb. causest to cease}

120O meu corpo se arrepiou com temor de ti, e temi os teus juízos.

120My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

121Fiz juízo e justiça; não me entregues aos meus opressores.

121AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

122Fica por fiador do teu servo para o bem; não deixes que os soberbos me oprimam.

122Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

123Os meus olhos desfaleceram pela tua salvação e pela promessa da tua justiça.

123Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

124Usa com o teu servo segundo a tua benignidade, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.

124Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

125Sou teu servo; dá-me inteligência, para entender os teus testemunhos.

125I {am} thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

126Já é tempo de operares, ó Senhor, pois eles têm quebrantado a tua lei.

126{It is} time for {thee}, LORD, to work: {for} they have made void thy law.

127Por isso am

127Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

128Por isso estimo todos os teus preceitos acerca de tudo, como retos, e odeio toda falsa vereda.

128Therefore I esteem all {thy} precepts {concerning} all {things to be} right; {and} I hate every false way.

129Maravilhosos são os teus testemunhos; portanto, a minha alma os guarda.

129PE. Thy testimonies {are} wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

130A entrada das tuas palavras dá luz, dá entendimento aos símplices.

130The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

131Abri a minha boca, e respirei, pois que desejei os teus mandamentos.

131I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

132Olha para mim, e tem piedade de mim, conforme usas com os que amam o teu nome.

132Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. {as thou...: Heb. according to the custom toward those, etc}

133Ordena os meus passos na tua palavra, e não se apodere de mim iniqüidade alguma.

133Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134Livra-me da opressão do homem; assim guardarei os teus preceitos.

134Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

135Faze resplandecer o teu rosto sobre o teu servo, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.

135Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

136Rios de águas correm dos meus olhos, porque não guardam a tua lei.

136Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

137Justo és, ó Senhor, e retos são os teus juízos.

137TZADDI. Righteous {art} thou, O LORD, and upright {are} thy judgments.

138Os teus testemunhos que ordenaste são retos e muito fiéis.

138Thy testimonies {that} thou hast commanded {are} righteous and very faithful. {righteous: Heb. righteousness} {faithful: Heb. faithfulness}

139O meu zelo me consumiu, porque os meus inimigos se esqueceram da tua palavra.

139My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words. {consumed...: Heb. cut me off}

140A tua palavra é muito pura; portanto, o teu servo a ama.

140Thy word {is} very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. {pure: Heb. tried, or, refined}

141Pequeno sou e desprezado, porém não me esqueço dos teus mandamentos.

141I {am} small and despised: {yet} do not I forget thy precepts.

142A tua justiça é uma justiça eterna, e a tua lei é a verdade.

142Thy righteousness {is} an everlasting righteousness, and thy law {is} the truth.

143Aflição e angústia se apoderam de mim; contudo os teus mandamentos são o meu prazer.

143Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: {yet} thy commandments {are} my delights. {taken...: Heb. found me}

144A justiça dos teus testemunhos é eterna; dá-me inteligência, e viverei.

144The righteousness of thy testimonies {is} everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

145Clamei de todo o meu coração; escuta-me, Senhor, e guardarei os teus estatutos.

145KOPH. I cried with {my} whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

146A ti te invoquei; salva-me, e guardarei os teus testemunhos.

146I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies. {and I...: or, that I may keep}

147Antecipei o cair da noite, e clamei; esperei na tua palavra.

147I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

148Os meus olhos anteciparam as vigílias da noite, para meditar na tua palavra.

148Mine eyes prevent the {night} watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

149Ouve a minha voz, segundo a tua benignidade; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo o teu juízo.

149Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

150Aproximam-se os que se dão a maus tratos; afastam-se da tua lei.

150They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

151Tu estás perto, ó Senhor, e todos os teus mandamentos são a verdade.

151Thou {art} near, O LORD; and all thy commandments {are} truth.

152Acerca dos teus testemunhos soube, desde a antiguidade, que tu os fundaste para sempre.

152Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

153Olha para a minha aflição, e livra-me, pois não me esqueci da tua lei.

153RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

154Pleiteia a minha causa, e livra-me; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.

154Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

155A salvação está longe dos ímpios, pois não buscam os teus estatutos.

155Salvation {is} far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
