Salmos 112

1Louvai ao SENHOR. Bem-aventurado o homem que teme ao SENHOR, que em seus mandamentos tem grande prazer.

1Praise ye the LORD. Blessed {is} the man {that} feareth the LORD, {that} delighteth greatly in his commandments. {Praise...: Heb. Hallelujah}

2A sua semente será poderosa na terra; a geração dos retos será abençoada.

2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3Prosperidade e riquezas haverá na sua casa, e a sua justiça permanece para sempre.

3Wealth and riches {shall be} in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4Aos justos nasce luz nas trevas; ele é piedoso, misericordioso e justo.

4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: {he is} gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5O homem bom se compadece, e empresta; disporá as suas coisas com juízo;

5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. {discretion: Heb. judgment}

6Porque nunca será abalado; o justo estará em memória eterna.

6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7Não temerá maus rumores; o seu coração está firme, confiando no Senhor.

7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8O seu coração está bem confirmado, ele não temerá, até que veja o seu desejo sobre os seus inimigos.

8His heart {is} established, he shall not be afraid, until he see {his desire} upon his enemies.

9Ele espalhou, deu aos necessitados; a sua justiça permanece para sempre, e a sua força se exaltará em glória.

9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10O ímpio o verá, e se entristecerá; rangerá os dentes, e se consumirá; o desejo dos ímpios perecerá.

10The wicked shall see {it}, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
