Salmos 109

1Ó Deus do meu louvor, não te cales,

1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.] Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;

2Pois a boca do ímpio e a boca do enganador estão abertas contra mim. Têm falado contra mim com uma língua mentirosa.

2For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. {of the deceitful: Heb. of deceit} {are opened: Heb. have opened themselves}

3Eles me cercaram com palavras odiosas, e pelejaram contra mim sem causa.

3They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

4Em recompensa do meu amor são meus adversários; mas eu faço oração.

4For my love they are my adversaries: but I {give myself unto} prayer.

5E me deram mal pelo bem, e ódio pelo meu amor.

5And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

6Põe sobre ele um ímpio, e Satanás esteja à sua direita.

6Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand. {Satan: or, an adversary}

7Quando for julgado, saia condenado; e a sua oração se lhe torne em pecado.

7When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin. {be condemned: Heb. go out guilty, or, wicked}

8Sejam poucos os seus dias, e outro tome o seu ofício.

8Let his days be few; {and} let another take his office. {office: or, charge}

9Sejam órfãos os seus filhos, e viúva sua mulher.

9Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

10Sejam vagabundos e pedintes os seus filhos, e busquem pão fora dos seus lugares desolados.

10Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek {their bread} also out of their desolate places.

11Lance o credor mão de tudo quanto tenha, e despojem os estranhos o seu trabalho.

11Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

12Não haja ninguém que se compadeça dele, nem haja quem favoreça os seus órfãos.

12Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

13Desapareça a sua posteridade, o seu nome seja apagado na seguinte geração.

13Let his posterity be cut off; {and} in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

14Esteja na memória do Senhor a iniqüidade de seus pais, e não se apague o pecado de sua mãe.

14Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

15Antes estejam sempre perante o Senhor, para que faça desaparecer a sua memória da terra.

15Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

16Porquanto não se lembrou de fazer misericórdia; antes perseguiu ao homem aflito e ao necessitado, para que pudesse até matar o quebrantado de coração.

16Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

17Visto que amou a maldição, ela lhe sobrevenha, e assim como não desejou a bênção, ela se afaste dele.

17As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

18Assim como se vestiu de maldição, como sua roupa assim penetre ela nas suas entranhas, como água, e em seus ossos como azeite.

18As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. {into his bowels: Heb. within him}

19Seja para ele como a roupa que o cobre, e como cinto que o cinja sempre.

19Let it be unto him as the garment {which} covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.

20Seja este o galardão dos meus contrários, da parte do Senhor, e dos que falam mal contra a minha alma.

20{Let} this {be} the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

21Mas tu, ó DEUS o Senhor, trata comigo por amor do teu nome, porque a tua misericórdia é boa, livra-me,

21But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy {is} good, deliver thou me.

22Pois estou aflito e necessitado, e o meu coração está ferido dentro de mim.

22For I {am} poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

23Vou-me como a sombra que declina; sou sacudido como o gafanhoto.

23I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.

24De jejuar estão enfraquecidos os meus joelhos, e a minha carne emagrece.

24My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.

25E ainda lhes sou opróbrio; quando me contemplam, movem as cabeças.

25I became also a reproach unto them: {when} they looked upon me they shaked their heads.

26Ajuda-me, ó Senhor meu Deus, salva-me segundo a tua misericórdia.

26Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:

27Para que saibam que esta é a tua mão, e que tu, Senhor, o fizeste.

27That they may know that this {is} thy hand; {that} thou, LORD, hast done it.

28Amaldiçoem eles, mas abençoa tu; quando se levantarem fiquem confundidos; e alegre-se o teu servo.

28Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.

29Vistam-se os meus adversários de vergonha, e cubram-se com a sua própria confusão como com uma capa.

29Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

30Louvarei grandemente ao Senhor com a minha boca; louvá-lo-ei entre a multidão.

30I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

31Pois se porá à direita do pobre, para o livrar dos que condenam a sua alma.

31For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save {him} from those that condemn his soul. {those...: Heb. the judges of}
