Salmos 108

1Preparado está o meu coração, ó Deus; cantarei e darei louvores até com a minha glória.

1A Song {or} Psalm of David.] O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2Despertai, saltério e harpa; eu mesmo despertarei ao romper da alva.

2Awake, psaltery and harp: I {myself} will awake early.

3Louvar-te-ei entre os povos, Senhor, e a ti cantarei louvores entre as nações.

3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4Porque a tua benignidade se estende até aos céus, e a tua verdade chega até às mais altas nuvens.

4For thy mercy {is} great above the heavens: and thy truth {reacheth} unto the clouds. {clouds: or, skies}

5Exalta-te sobre os céus, ó Deus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra.

5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

6Para que sejam livres os teus amados, salva-nos com a tua destra, e ouve-nos.

6That thy beloved may be delivered: save {with} thy right hand, and answer me.

7Deus falou na sua santidade; eu me regozijarei; repartirei a Siquém, e medirei o vale de Sucote.

7God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8Meu é Gileade, meu é Manassés; e Efraim a força da minha cabeça, Judá o meu legislador.

8Gilead {is} mine; Manasseh {is} mine; Ephraim also {is} the strength of mine head; Judah {is} my lawgiver;

9Moabe a minha bacia de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato, sobre a Filístia jubilarei.

9Moab {is} my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

10Quem me levará à cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?

10Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11Porventura não serás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não sairás, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos?

11{Wilt} not {thou}, O God, {who} hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

12Dá-nos auxílio para sair da angústia, porque vão é o socorro da parte do homem.

12Give us help from trouble: for vain {is} the help of man.

13Em Deus faremos proezas, pois ele calcará aos pés os nossos inimigos.

13Through God we shall do valiantly: for he {it is that} shall tread down our enemies.
