Salmos 103

1Bendize, ó minha alma, ao SENHOR, e tudo o que há em mim bendiga o seu santo nome.

1{A Psalm} of David.] Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, {bless} his holy name.

2Bendize, ó minha alma, ao Senhor, e não te esqueças de nenhum de seus benefícios.

2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3Ele é o que perdoa todas as tuas iniqüidades, que sara todas as tuas enfermidades,

3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4Que redime a tua vida da perdição; que te coroa de benignidade e de misericórdia,

4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5Que farta a tua boca de bens, de sorte que a tua mocidade se renova como a da águia.

5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good {things; so that} thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6O Senhor faz justiça e juízo a todos os oprimidos.

6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7Fez conhecidos os seus caminhos a Moisés, e os seus feitos aos filhos de Israel.

7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8Misericordioso e piedoso é o Senhor; longânimo e grande em benignidade.

8The LORD {is} merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. {plentious...: Heb. great in mercy}

9Não reprovará perpetuamente, nem para sempre reterá a sua ira.

9He will not always chide: neither will he keep {his anger} for ever.

10Não nos tratou segundo os nossos pecados, nem nos recompensou segundo as nossas iniqüidades.

10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11Pois assim como o céu está elevado acima da terra, assim é grande a sua misericórdia para com os que o temem.

11For as the heaven is high above the earth, {so} great is his mercy toward them that fear him. {as...: Heb. according to the height of the heaven}

12Assim como está longe o oriente do ocidente, assim afasta de nós as nossas transgressões.

12As far as the east is from the west, {so} far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13Assim como um pai se compadece de seus filhos, assim o Senhor se compadece daqueles que o temem.

13Like as a father pitieth {his} children, {so} the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14Pois ele conhece a nossa estrutura; lembra-se de que somos pó.

14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we {are} dust.

15Quanto ao homem, os seus dias são como a erva, como a flor do campo assim floresce.

15{As for} man, his days {are} as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16Passando por ela o vento, logo se vai, e o seu lugar não será mais conhecido.

16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. {it is...: Heb. it is not}

17Mas a misericórdia do Senhor é desde a eternidade e até a eternidade sobre aqueles que o temem, e a sua justiça sobre os filhos dos filhos;

17But the mercy of the LORD {is} from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

18Sobre aqueles que guardam a sua aliança, e sobre os que se lembram dos seus mandamentos para os cumprir.

18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19O Senhor tem estabelecido o seu trono nos céus, e o seu reino domina sobre tudo.

19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20Bendizei ao Senhor, todos os seus anjos, vós que excedeis em força, que guardais os seus mandamentos, obedecendo à voz da sua palavra.

20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. {that excel...: Heb. mighty in strength}

21Bendizei ao Senhor, todos os seus exércitos, vós ministros seus, que executais o seu beneplácito.

21Bless ye the LORD, all {ye} his hosts; {ye} ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22Bendizei ao Senhor, todas as suas obras, em todos os lugares do seu domínio; bendize, ó minha alma, ao Senhor.

22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
