Salmos 102

1SENHOR, ouve a minha oração, e chegue a ti o meu clamor.

1A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD.] Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee. {of: or, for}

2Não escondas de mim o teu rosto no dia da minha angústia, inclina para mim os teus ouvidos; no dia em que eu clamar, ouve-me depressa.

2Hide not thy face from me in the day {when} I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day {when} I call answer me speedily.

3Porque os meus dias se consomem como a fumaça, e os meus ossos ardem como lenha.

3For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. {like...: or, (as some read) into smoke}

4O meu coração está ferido e seco como a erva, por isso me esqueço de comer o meu pão.

4My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

5Por causa da voz do meu gemido os meus ossos se apegam à minha pele.

5By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. {skin: or, flesh}

6Sou semelhante ao pelicano no deserto; sou como um mocho nas solidões.

6I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

7Vigio, sou como o pardal solitário no telhado.

7I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

8Os meus inimigos me afrontam todo o dia; os que se enfurecem contra mim têm jurado contra mim.

8Mine enemies reproach me all the day; {and} they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

9Pois tenho comido cinza como pão, e misturado com lágrimas a minha bebida,

9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

10Por causa da tua ira e da tua indignação, pois tu me levantaste e me arremessaste.

10Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

11Os meus dias são como a sombra que declina, e como a erva me vou secando.

11My days {are} like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

12Mas tu, Senhor, permanecerás para sempre, a tua memória de geração em geração.

12But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

13Tu te levantarás e terás piedade de Sião; pois o tempo de te compadeceres dela, o tempo determinado, já chegou.

13Thou shalt arise, {and} have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

14Porque os teus servos têm prazer nas suas pedras, e se compadecem do seu pó.

14For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

15Então os gentios temerão o nome do Senhor, e todos os reis da terra a tua glória.

15So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

16Quando o Senhor edificar a Sião, aparecerá na sua glória.

16When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

17Ele atenderá à oração do desamparado, e não desprezará a sua oração.

17He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

18Isto se escreverá para a geração futura; e o povo que se criar louvará ao Senhor.

18This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

19Pois olhou desde o alto do seu santuário, desde os céus o Senhor contemplou a terra,

19For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

20Para ouvir o gemido dos presos, para soltar os sentenciados à morte;

20To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; {those...: Heb. the children of death}

21Para anunciarem o nome do Senhor em Sião, e o seu louvor em Jerusalém,

21To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

22Quando os povos se ajuntarem, e os reinos, para servirem ao Senhor.

22When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

23Abateu a minha força no caminho; abreviou os meus dias.

23He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. {weakened: Heb. afflicted}

24Dizia eu: Meu Deus, não me leves no meio dos meus dias, os teus anos são por todas as gerações.

24I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years {are} throughout all generations.

25Desde a antiguidade fundaste a terra, e os céus são obra das tuas mãos.

25Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens {are} the work of thy hands.

26Eles perecerão, mas tu permanecerás; todos eles se envelhecerão como um vestido; como roupa os mudarás, e ficarão mudados.

26They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: {endure: Heb. stand}

27Porém tu és o mesmo, e os teus anos nunca terão fim.

27But thou {art} the same, and thy years shall have no end.

28Os filhos dos teus servos continuarão, e a sua semente ficará firmada perante ti.

28The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
