Salmos de Salomão 9

1Quando Israel foi levado em cativeiro a uma terra estrangeira, ao se afastarem do Senhor seu redentor foram expulsos.

1When Israel was led captive to a foreign land, departing from the Lord their redeemer they were expelled.

2Israel está disperso entre os povos segundo a palavra de Deus.

2Israel is dispersed among the peoples according to the word of God.

3As nossas obras estão na eleição e capacidade de nossas almas.

3Our works are in the choice and capacity of our souls.

4O que pratica justiça entesoura a sua vida ao Senhor.

4He who practices righteousness treasures up his life to the Lord.

5Em quem mostrarás beneficência, ó Deus, a não ser aos que invocam o Senhor?

5To whom will you show kindness, O God, if not to those who invoke the Lord?

6E então tu és Deus, e nós o povo que tu amas.

6And then you are God, and we the people whom you love.

7Porque tu escolheste a semente de Abraão dentre todos os povos.

7For you chose the seed of Abraham from among all peoples.

8Do Senhor é a misericórdia sobre a Casa de Israel para sempre.

8The mercy of the Lord is upon the House of Israel forever.
