1Perigo e voz de guerra ouviu o meu ouvido, voz de trombeta altissonante, de massacre e de destruição.

1Danger and the voice of war my ear heard, voice of a loud-sounding trumpet, of slaughter and destruction.

2Voz de muito povo como de vento impetuoso, como tempestade, muito fogo trazido.

2Voice of much people like an impetuous wind, like a storm, much fire being brought.

3Eu disse em meu coração: 'Aonde então Deus o julgará?'

3I said in my heart: 'Where then will God judge him?'

4Escutei uma voz proveniente de Jerusalém, Cidade Santa.

4I heard a voice coming from Jerusalem, Holy City.

5Deus desvelou os seus pecados ante o sol; toda a terra conheceu os justos juízos de Deus.

5God unveiled their sins before the sun; all the earth knew the righteous judgments of God.

6Justo é Deus em todos os seus decretos; e os santos de Deus são como ovelhas inocentes.

6God is righteous in all his decrees; and the saints of God are like innocent sheep.

7Louvado é o Senhor, Juiz de toda a terra, em sua justiça.

7Praised be the Lord, Judge of all the earth, in his righteousness.

8Ajunta o Israel disperso por misericórdia e benignidade.

8Gather dispersed Israel by mercy and kindness.

9Bendito seja Israel pelo Senhor para sempre.

9Blessed be Israel by the Lord forever.
