Salmos de Salomão 5

1Deus, louvarei o teu nome com regozijo, no meio dos que conhecem os teus justos juízos.

1God, I will praise your name with rejoicing, among those who know your righteous judgments.

2Porque tu és benigno e misericordioso, o refúgio do pobre.

2For you are kind and merciful, the refuge of the poor.

3Ao sermos oprimidos te pediremos por socorro; mas não rejeites a nossa súplica, porque tu és o nosso Deus.

3When we are oppressed we will ask you for help; but do not reject our supplication, for you are our God.

4Se estiver com fome, a ti clamarei, ó Deus, e tu me saciarás.

4If I am hungry, I will cry to you, O God, and you will satisfy me.

5Tu alimentas os passarinhos e os peixes, quando dás chuva aos desertos.

5You feed the birds and the fish, when you give rain to the deserts.

6Os reis, os poderosos e os povos tu alimentas, ó Deus também do pobre e do necessitado.

6Kings, the powerful and peoples you feed, O God also of the poor and needy.

7O teu dom é abundante com benignidade e riqueza.

7Your gift is abundant with kindness and riches.

8Bem-aventurado aquele que se lembra de Deus na simetria da auto-suficiência.

8Blessed is he who remembers God in the symmetry of self-sufficiency.

9Suficiente é a moderação da justiça, e nisto está a bênção do Senhor.

9Sufficient is the moderation of righteousness, and in this is the blessing of the Lord.
