Salmos de Salomão 13

1A destra do Senhor cobriu-me; a destra do Senhor poupou-nos.

1The right hand of the Lord covered me; the right hand of the Lord spared us.

2O braço do Senhor nos salvou da espada transpassante, da fome e da morte.

2The arm of the Lord saved us from the piercing sword, from famine and from death.

3Uma besta maligna nos acometeu; mas de todas essas coisas nos livrou o Senhor.

3A wicked beast assailed us; but from all these things the Lord delivered us.

4Perturbou-se o piedoso com suas iniqüidades, a fim de que não seja apanhado com os pecadores.

4The pious one was disturbed by his iniquities, lest he be caught with the sinners.

5Não é semelhante a disciplina dos justos na ignorância à destruição dos pecadores.

5The discipline of the righteous in ignorance is not like the destruction of sinners.

6Secretamente o justo é disciplinado, a fim de que o pecador não se regozije.

6Secretly the righteous is disciplined, lest the sinner rejoice.

7Ele instruirá o justo como um filho amado, e a sua disciplina como um primogênito.

7He shall instruct the righteous like a beloved son, and his discipline as of a firstborn.

8Porque a vida dos justos é para sempre, porém os pecadores serão levados para a destruição.

8For the life of the righteous is forever, but sinners shall be taken to destruction.

9A misericórdia do Senhor está sobre os santos.

9The mercy of the Lord is upon the saints.
