Romanos 16

1Recomendo-vos, pois, Febe, nossa irmã, a qual serve na igreja que está em Cencréia,

1I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

2Para que a recebais no Senhor, como convém aos santos, e a ajudeis em qualquer coisa que de vós necessitar; porque tem hospedado a muitos, como também a mim mesmo.

2That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

3Saudai a Priscila e a Áqüila, meus cooperadores em Cristo Jesus,

3Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:

4Os quais pela minha vida expuseram as suas cabeças; o que não só eu lhes agradeço, mas também todas as igrejas dos gentios.

4Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

14Saudai a Asíncrito, a Flegonte, a Hermes, a Pátrobas, a Hermas, e aos irmãos que estão com eles.

14Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them.

15Saudai a Filólogo e a Júlia, a Nereu e a sua irmã, e a Olimpas, e a todos os santos que com eles estão.

15Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them.

16Saudai-vos uns aos outros com santo ósculo. As igrejas de Cristo vos saúdam.

16Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

17E rogo-vos, irmãos, que noteis os que promovem dissensões e escândalos contra a doutrina que aprendestes; desviai-vos deles.

17Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

18Porque os tais não servem a nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, mas ao seu ventre; e com suaves palavras e lisonjas enganam os corações dos simples.

18For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

19Quanto à vossa obediência, é ela conhecida de todos. Comprazo-me, pois, em vós; e quero que sejais sábios no bem, mas simples no mal.

19For your obedience is come abroad unto all {men}. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. {simple: or, harmless}

20E o Deus de paz esmagará em breve Satanás debaixo dos vossos pés. A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja convosco. Amém.

20And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ {be} with you. Amen. {bruise: or, tread}

23Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother.

24A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com todos vós. Amém.

24The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ {be} with you all. Amen.

25Ora, àquele que é poderoso para vos confirmar segundo o meu evangelho e a pregação de Jesus Cristo, conforme a revelação do mistério que desde tempos eternos esteve oculto,

25Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

26Mas que se manifestou agora, e se notificou pelas Escrituras dos profetas, segundo o mandamento do Deus eterno, a todas as nações para obediência da fé;

26But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

27Ao único Deus, sábio, seja dada glória por Jesus Cristo para todo o sempre. Amém.
