1O primeiro, portanto, é quem ama a Cristo; o segundo, quem ama e cuida dos que nEle creram. Pois tudo o que se faz a um discípulo o Senhor recebe como feito a Si mesmo e considera tudo como Seu. 'Vinde, benditos de Meu Pai, herdai o reino preparado para vós desde a fundação do mundo. Pois tive fome e Me destes de comer; tive sede e Me destes de beber; era estrangeiro e Me acolhestes; estava nu e Me vestistes; enfermo e Me visitastes; preso e viestes a Mim. Então os justos responderão: Senhor, quando Te vimos faminto e Te alimentamos, ou sedento e Te demos de beberá Quando Te vimos estrangeiro e Te acolhemos, ou nu e Te vestimos? Quando Te vimos enfermo e Te visitamos, ou preso e fomos a Ti? E o Rei lhes responderá: Em verdade vos digo: sempre que o fizestes a um destes Meus irmãos mais pequeninos, a Mim o fizestes.'

1He then is first who loves Christ; and second, he who loves and cares for those who have believed on Him. For whatever is done to a disciple, the Lord accepts as done to Himself, and reckons the whole as His. "Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was an hungered, and ye gave Me to eat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me to drink: and I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: I was naked and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came to Me. Then shall the righteous answer, saying, Lord, when saw we Thee hungry, and fed Thee? or thirsty, and gave Thee drink? And when saw we Thee a stranger, and took Thee in? or naked, and clothed Thee? Or when saw we Thee sick, and visited Thee? or in prison, and came to Thee? And the King answering, shall say to them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me."

2Again, on the opposite side, to those who have not performed these things, "Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have not done it unto one of the least of these, ye have not done it to Me." And in another place, "He that receiveth you; receiveth Me; and he that receiveth not you, rejecteth Me."
