1E fiquei admirado com estas palavras e com a voz que me falava estas coisas.

1And I was astonished at these words, and at the voice that spake these things to me.

2E enquanto eu orava, eis que duas árvores brotaram da terra, lindas e lindas, carregadas de frutos perfumados.

2And as I prayed, behold two trees sprang up out of the earth, fair and beautiful, laden with fragrant fruits.

3E a árvore deste lado inclinou-se e recebeu-me no seu topo, e foi elevada muito acima do meio do rio, e a outra árvore encontrou-me e recebeu-me nos seus ramos e curvando-se colocou-me no chão; e ambas as árvores foram levantadas e me afastaram do rio, do outro lado.

3And the tree on this side bent down and received me on its top, and was lifted up exceedingly above the middle of the river, and the other tree met me and received me in its branches and bending down set me on the ground; and both trees were lifted up and set me away from the river on the other side.

4Naquele lugar descansei três dias, e levantando-me novamente segui em frente, para onde não sabia, e aquele lugar estava cheio de muita fragrância, e não havia montanha em nenhum dos lados, mas o lugar era plano e florido, todo coroado com guirlandas, e toda a terra linda.

4In that place I rested three days, and arising again I went forward, whither I knew not, and that place was filled with much fragrance, and there was no mountain on either hand, but the place was level and flowery, all crowned with garlands, and all the land beautiful.
