1Chapter.

2E novamente o filho de Anás, sacerdote do templo, que tinha vindo com José, segurando sua vara na mão à vista de todos, com grande fúria quebrou as barragens que Jesus havia feito com Suas próprias mãos, e deixou sair da torrente a água que Ele havia coletado nelas.

2And again the son of Annas, a priest of the temple, who had come with Joseph, holding his rod in his hand in the sight of all, with great fury broke down the dams which Jesus had made with His own hands, and let out the water which He had collected in them from the torrent.

3Além disso, ele fechou o aqueduto por onde entrava a água e depois o quebrou.

3Moreover, he shut the aqueduct by which the water came in, and then broke it down.

4E quando Jesus viu isso, disse àquele menino que havia destruído Suas represas: Ó semente perversa de iniqüidade! Ó filho da morte! Ó oficina de Satanás! na verdade o fruto da tua semente ficará sem força, e as tuas raízes sem umidade, e os teus ramos murcharão e não darão fruto.

4And when Jesus saw this, He said to that boy who had destroyed His dams: O most wicked seed of iniquity! O son of death! O workshop of Satan! verily the fruit of thy seed shall be without strength, and thy roots without moisture, and thy branches withered, bearing no fruit.

5E imediatamente, à vista de todos, o menino definhou e morreu.

5And immediately, in the sight of all, the boy withered away, and died.
