Protoevangelho de Tiago 25

1E eu, Tiago, que escrevi esta história, ao levantar-se um grande tumulto em Jerusalém por ocasião da morte de Herodes, retirei-me ao deserto até que cessasse o motim, glorificando ao Senhor meu Deus, que me concedeu a graça e a sabedoria necessárias para compor esta narração.

1And I, James, who wrote this story, when a great tumult arose in Jerusalem on the occasion of the death of Herod, withdrew to the desert until the commotion ceased, glorifying the Lord my God, who granted me the grace and wisdom necessary to compose this narrative.

2Que a graça esteja com todos aqueles que temem a Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, para quem deve ser a glória por todos os séculos dos séculos. Amém.

2May grace be with all those who fear Our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom must be the glory for all ages of ages. Amen.
