2Tanto você quanto Inácio me escreveram, dizendo que se alguém fosse daqui para a Síria, deveria levar consigo sua carta; pedido esse que atenderei se encontrar uma oportunidade adequada, seja pessoalmente ou por meio de alguma outra ação em meu nome, para que seu desejo seja satisfeito.

2Both you and Ignatius wrote to me, that if any one went from this into Syria, he should carry your letter with him; which request I will attend to if I find a fitting opportunity, either personally, or through some other acting for me, that your desire may be fulfilled.

3As Epístolas de Inácio escritas por ele para nós, e todo o resto de suas Epístolas que temos por nós, nós enviamos a você, como você solicitou.

3The Epistles of Ignatius written by him to us, and all the rest of his Epistles which we have by us, we have sent to you, as you requested.

4Eles estão anexados a esta Epístola, e com eles você pode ser grandemente beneficiado; pois tratam de fé e paciência, e de todas as coisas que tendem à edificação em nosso Senhor.

4They are subjoined to this Epistle, and by them ye may be greatly profited; for they treat of faith and patience, and all things that tend to edification in our Lord.

5Qualquer informação mais certa que você possa ter obtido a respeito tanto do próprio Inácio quanto daqueles que estiveram com ele, tenha a bondade de nos dar a conhecer.

5Any more certain information you may have obtained respecting both Ignatius himself, and those that were with him, have the goodness to make known to us.
