1Chapter 12 — Exhortation to various graces.

2Pois confio que sois bem versados ​​nas Sagradas Escrituras e que nada vos será oculto; mas para mim esse privilégio ainda não foi concedido.

2For I trust that ye are well versed in the Sacred Scriptures, and that nothing is hid from you; but to me this privilege is not yet granted.

3É declarado então nestas Escrituras: “Irai-vos e não pequeis” e “Não se ponha o sol sobre a vossa ira”.

3It is declared then in these Scriptures, "Be ye angry, and sin not," and, "Let not the sun go down upon your wrath".

4Feliz é quem se lembra disso, o que creio ser o seu caso.

4Happy is he who remembers this, which I believe to be the case with you.

5Mas que o Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, e o próprio Jesus Cristo, que é o Filho de Deus e nosso Sumo Sacerdote eterno, os edifique na fé e na verdade, e em toda mansidão, gentileza, paciência, longanimidade, tolerância e pureza; e que Ele conceda a você muito e porção entre Seus santos, e a nós com você, e a todos os que estão sob o céu, que crerão em nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, e em Seu Pai, que “o ressuscitou dentre os mortos”.

5But may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ Himself, who is the Son of God, and our everlasting High Priest, build you up in faith and truth, and in all meekness, gentleness, patience, long-suffering, forbearance, and purity; and may He bestow on you a lot and portion among His saints, and on us with you, and on all that are under heaven, who shall believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, and in His Father, who "raised Him from the dead".

6Ore por todos os santos.

6Pray for all the saints.

7Ore também pelos reis, potentados e príncipes, e por aqueles que os perseguem e odeiam, e pelos inimigos da cruz, para que seu fruto seja manifesto a todos, e para que sejamos perfeitos Nele.

7Pray also for kings, and potentates, and princes, and for those that persecute and hate you, and for the enemies of the cross, that your fruit may be manifest to all, and that ye may be perfect in Him.
