1Jesus continuou novamente e disse aos seus discípulos: Ainda mais, ó meus discípulos e companheiros e irmãos, seja cada um sóbrio no espírito que nele está, entenda e compreenda todas as palavras que vos hei de falar; porque de agora em diante começarei a conversar convosco a respeito de todas as gnoses daquele Inefável.

1Jesus continued again and said unto his disciples: Yet further, O my disciples and companions and brethren, let every one be sober in the spirit which is in him, let him understand and comprehend all the words which I shall say unto you; for from now on will I begin to discourse with you concerning all the gnoses of that Ineffable.

2Aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o ocidente e por que surgiu o oriente. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o sul e por que surgiu o norte.

2That mystery knoweth why the west hath arisen and why the east hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the south hath arisen and why the north hath arisen.

3Ainda mais, ó meus discípulos, ouvi e continuai a ser sóbrios e dai ouvidos à total gnose do mistério do Inefável.

3Yet further, O my disciples, hearken and continue to be sober and hearken to the total gnosis of the mystery of the Ineffable.

4Aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os demônios e por que surgiu a humanidade. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o calor e por que surgiu a brisa agradável. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as estrelas e por que surgiram as nuvens.

4That mystery knoweth why the demons have arisen and why mankind hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the heat hath arisen and why the pleasant air hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the stars have arisen and why the clouds have arisen.

5E aquele mistério sabe por que a terra se tornou profunda e por que as águas vieram sobre ela. E aquele mistério sabe por que a terra se tornou seca e por que a água veio sobre ela.

5And that mystery knoweth why the earth became deep and why the water came thereon. And that mystery knoweth why the earth became dry and why the water came thereon.

6E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a fome e por que surgiu a abundância. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a geada e por que surgiu o orvalho salutar.

6And that mystery knoweth why famine hath arisen and why superfluity hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the hoar-frost hath arisen and why the healthful dew hath arisen.

7E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o pó e por que surgiu o frescor aprazível. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a saraiva e por que surgiu a neve benfazeja.

7And that mystery knoweth why the dust hath arisen and why the delightsome freshness hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the hail hath arisen and why the pleasant snow hath arisen.

8E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o vento ocidental e por que surgiu o vento oriental. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o fogo da altura e por que surgiram as águas. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o vento do sul e por que surgiu o vento do norte.

8And that mystery knoweth why the west wind hath arisen and why the east wind hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the fire of the height hath arisen and why the waters have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the south wind hath arisen and why the north wind hath arisen.

9E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as estrelas do céu e os discos dos dadores de luz e por que surgiu o firmamento com todos os seus véus.

9And that mystery knoweth why the stars of the heaven and the disks of the light-givers have arisen and why the firmament with all its veils hath arisen.

10E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os governantes das esferas e por que surgiu a esfera com todas as suas regiões. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os governantes dos éons e por que surgiram os éons com os seus véus.

10And that mystery knoweth why the rulers of the spheres have arisen and why the sphere with all its regions hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the rulers of the æons have arisen and why the æons with their veils have arisen.

11E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os governantes tiranos dos éons e por que surgiram os governantes que se arrependeram. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os servos e por que surgiram os decanos. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os anjos e por que surgiram os arcanjos.

11And that mystery knoweth why the tyrant rulers of the æons have arisen and why the rulers who have repented have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the servitors have arisen and why the decans have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the angels have arisen and why the archangels have arisen.

12E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os senhores e por que surgiram os deuses. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o ciúme na altura e por que surgiu a concórdia. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o ódio e por que surgiu o amor.

12And that mystery knoweth why the lords have arisen and why the gods have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the jealousy in the height hath arisen and why concord hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why hate hath arisen and why love hath arisen.

13E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a discórdia e por que surgiu a concórdia. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a avareza e por que surgiu a renúncia de tudo e o amor às posses. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o apetite do ventre e por que surgiu a saciedade.

13And that mystery knoweth why discord hath arisen and why concord hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why avarice hath arisen and why renunciation of all hath arisen and love of possessions hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why love of the belly hath arisen and why satiety hath arisen.

14E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os emparelhados e por que surgiram os desemparelhados. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a impiedade e por que surgiu o temor de Deus. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os dadores de luz e por que surgiram as centelhas.

14And that mystery knoweth why the paired have arisen and why the unpaired have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why impiety hath arisen and why fear of God hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the light-givers have arisen and why the sparks have arisen.

15E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os três-poderosos e por que surgiram os invisíveis. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os antepassados e por que surgiram as purezas. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o grande Soberbo e por que surgiram os seus fiéis.

15And that mystery knoweth why the thrice-powerful have arisen and why the invisibles have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the fore-fathers have arisen and why the purities have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the great self-willed hath arisen and why his faithful have arisen.

16E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o grande três-poderoso e por que surgiu o grande antepassado invisível. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o décimo terceiro éon e por que surgiu a região dos do Meio.

16And that mystery knoweth why the great triple-powerful hath arisen and why the great invisible forefather hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the thirteenth æon hath arisen and why the region of those of the Midst hath arisen.

17E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os recebedores do Meio e por que surgiram as virgens da luz. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os ministros do Meio e por que surgiram os anjos do Meio.

17And that mystery knoweth why receivers of the Midst have arisen and why the virgins of the light have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the ministers of the Midst have arisen and why the angels of the Midst have arisen.

18E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a terra da luz e por que surgiu o grande recebedor da luz. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os guardas da região da Direita e por que surgiram os líderes deles.

18And that mystery knoweth why the light-land hath arisen and why the great receiver of the light hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the guards of the region of the Right have arisen and why the leaders of them have arisen.

19E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a porta da vida e por que surgiu Sabaoth, o Bom. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a região da Direita e por que surgiu a terra da luz, que é o tesouro da luz.

19And that mystery knoweth why the gate of life hath arisen and why Sabaōth, the Good, hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the region of the Right hath arisen and why the light-land, which is the treasury of the light, hath arisen.

20E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as emanações da luz e por que surgiram os doze salvadores. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as três portas do tesouro da luz e por que surgiram os nove guardas.

20And that mystery knoweth why the emanations of the light have arisen and why the twelve saviours have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the three gates of the treasury of the light have arisen and why the nine guards have arisen.

21E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os salvadores-gêmeos e por que surgiram os três Améns. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as cinco Árvores e por que surgiram os sete Améns. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a Mistura que não existe e por que ela é purificada.

21And that mystery knoweth why the twin-saviours have arisen and why the three Amēns have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the five Trees have arisen and why the seven Amēns have arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the Mixture which existeth not, hath arisen and why it is purified.
