1Aconteceu então que, havendo Jesus acabado de dizer estas palavras aos seus discípulos, alegraram-se com grande alegria e exultaram ao ouvirem Jesus proferir estas palavras.

1It came to pass then, when Jesus had finished saying these words unto his disciples, that they rejoiced in great joy and exulted when they heard Jesus say these words.

2E Jesus continuou novamente no discurso e disse-lhes: Ouvi, portanto, agora ainda mais, ó meus discípulos, para que eu converse convosco a respeito de toda a gnose do mistério do Inefável.

2And Jesus continued again in the discourse and said unto them: Hearken, therefore, now still further, O my disciples, so that I discourse with you concerning the whole gnosis of the mystery of the Ineffable.

3Aquele mistério do Inefável sabe por que razão surgiu a falta de misericórdia e por que surgiu a misericórdia.

3That mystery of the Ineffable knoweth why unmercifulness hath arisen and why mercifulness hath arisen.

4E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a ruína e por que surgiu a eternidade perdurável.

4And that mystery knoweth why ruin hath arisen and why everlasting eternity hath arisen.

5E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os répteis e por que serão destruídos.

5And that mystery knoweth why the reptiles have arisen and why they will be destroyed.

6E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as feras do campo e por que serão destruídas.

6And that mystery knoweth why the wild beasts have arisen and why they will be destroyed.

7E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu o gado e por que surgiram as aves.

7And that mystery knoweth why the cattle have arisen and why the birds have arisen.

8E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as montanhas e por que surgiram as pedras preciosas nelas contidas.

8And that mystery knoweth why the mountains have arisen and why the precious stones therein have arisen.

9E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a matéria do ouro e por que surgiu a matéria da prata.

9And that mystery knoweth why the matter of gold hath arisen and why the matter of silver hath arisen.

10E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a matéria do cobre e por que surgiu a matéria do ferro e da pedra.

10And that mystery knoweth why the matter of copper hath arisen and why the matter of iron and of stone hath arisen.

11E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a matéria do chumbo. E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a matéria do vidro e por que surgiu a matéria da cera.

11And that mystery knoweth why the matter of lead hath arisen. And that mystery knoweth why the matter of glass hath arisen and why the matter of wax hath arisen.

12E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram as ervas, isto é, os vegetais, e por que surgiram todas as matérias.

12And that mystery knoweth why herbs, that is the vegetables, have arisen and why all matters have arisen.

13E o mistério sabe por que surgiram as águas da terra e todas as coisas nelas existentes, e por que também surgiu a terra.

13And the mystery knoweth why the waters of the earth and all things in them have arisen and why also the earth hath arisen.

14E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiram os mares e as águas e por que surgiram as feras dos mares.

14And that mystery knoweth why the seas and the waters have arisen and why the wild beasts in the seas have arisen.

15E aquele mistério sabe por que surgiu a matéria do mundo e por que será ela inteiramente destruída.

15And that mystery knoweth why the matter of the world hath arisen and why it will be utterly destroyed.
