Pistis Sophia 75

1E continuou ele novamente no discurso e disse aos discípulos: Todas estas foram as aflições que sobrevieram a Pistis Sophia. Aconteceu então que, havendo-a eu conduzido à região que está debaixo do décimo terceiro éon, e estando eu prestes a ir para a Luz e a afastar-me dela, disse-me ela:

1And he continued again in the discourse and said unto the disciples: These are all adventures which have befallen Pistis Sophia. It came to pass then, when I had led her to the region which is below the thirteenth æon, and was about to go unto the Light and depart from her, that she said unto me:

2Ó Luz das luzes, tu irás para a Luz e te afastarás de mim. E o tirano Adamas saberá que te apartaste de mim e saberá que o meu salvador não está perto. E virá de novo a esta região, ele e todos os seus arcontes que me odeiam, e o Soberbo dará também poder à sua emanação de rosto de leão e virá constranger-me de novo e tirar-me toda a luz, de sorte que eu fique sem poder e sem nenhuma luz. Agora, pois, ó Luz das luzes, tira-lhes o poder da sua luz, para que não possam oprimir-me desde esta hora em diante.

2O Light of lights, thou wilt go to the Light and depart from me. And Tyrant Adamas will know that thou hast departed from me and will know that my saviour is not at hand. And he will come again to this region, he and all his rulers who hate me, and Self-willed also will bestow power unto his lion-faced emanation and will come and constrain me anew and take all the light from me, so that I become powerless and have no light. Now, therefore, O Light of lights, take the power of their light from them, so that they may not be able to constrain me from this hour on.

3Aconteceu então que, ouvindo eu estas palavras que Pistis Sophia me dissera, respondi e disse-lhe: O teu pai Soberbo ainda não esgotou todo o seu poder. Mas ouve, para que eu te fale: Selarei as regiões do Soberbo e de todos os seus arcontes, e lhes ordenarei que não pelejem contra ti, até que o tempo deles seja cumprido e até que a ordem do Primeiro Mistério seja realizada.

3It came to pass then, when I heard these words which Pistis Sophia had spoken unto me, that I answered and said unto her: Thy father Self-willed hath not yet spent all his power. But hearken that I may speak with thee: I will seal the regions of Self-willed and all his rulers, and I will command them that they should not fight against thee, until their time is completed and until the command of the First Mystery is fulfilled.
